We truly love Melissa! She drove to Chicago to shoot our engagement photos. She's super flexible, accommodating, personable, and professional! We can't wait to spend our wedding day with her.

Melissa was the perfect photographer for our wedding. She is so easy to be around and talk to that she took away all the stress of a "photo shoot." We loved spending time with her for our engagement session and the final pictures looked amazing! We cannot wait to see what great shots she captured at our wedding. Our guests LOVED the portrait booth that she set up for the wedding reception. We cannot recommend her highly enough. We're excited to work with her again in the future for other photo sessions.

What drew me to Melissa from the start was the creative fine art quality of her work. When I met with Melissa for the first time, her warm personality stood out. Melissa is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is highly regarded by her wedding industry colleagues. Everyone had nothing but lovely things to say and rave about Melissa. She is not only an amazing human being, she sets you at ease. Melissa is such a real and genuine person that I felt comfortable having a boudoir session with her. We hired her for an engagement session and wedding day photography. Melissa was able to blend in with her surroundings such that my fiancé and I did not feel self-conscious, even in public. She is flexible and willing to change things up on the go. We had planned to just walk around downtown for pictures, but then decided to go to the Arb Peony Garden. She gave minimal instruction and kept the shots looking natural.

Melissa and her assistant Kerri were great at helping to keep the family picture time rolling smoothly. They had our list of must-have shots and went through them effortlessly. Melissa, even threw her body over mine, when my groom caught an accidental glimpse of me pre-first look.

More than that, Melissa is professional and a great communicator. She was quick to send a few sneak peak shots within a short period of time. Her work was stunning and there were never any mistakes by ways of duplicates/etc. that I have heard about with other photographers. I hope Melissa will continue to share her talent so that she can photograph more of our family milestones.

I can't say enough great things about Melissa and AGIL. After our engagement photos, I knew I picked the right photographer. She has a great eye for creative spots and I love the way she captured our wedding day. It was a challenging day to shoot - it was pouring rain. She found us an awesome spot at UMMA that ended up being the backdrop of some of my favorite shots. When the sun went down, she captured some breathtaking shots of us on the football field. The best part is that Melissa captures all the fun moments that make a wedding special; the candids are so much fun to look back on since the day itself went by in a blur. I also love that she takes a TON of pictures, so there's lots to choose from when deciding on prints and albums. I also must say she was incredibly responsive when I asked about additional pictures from the day. She went back into her files and found me some other options to look at, I felt that she truly wanted me to be completely satisfied. She is also outgoing and fun, and was able to wrangle our families and friends (which isn't always easy). We look forward to using Melissa in the future whenever we need to capture special moments!

Five stars all day. Melissa is the absolute best! Her photos are beautiful and unique to each couple so you don't have to worry about any over posed cookie cutter wedding photos. She is super professional and flexible. She worked with our ever-changing timeline. She is super fun to work with and when she's taking pictures it feels more like you're just hanging out with friend rather than taking your wedding portraits, which was great for me because I hate having my picture taken.

Oh yeah, and the photos from our wedding day (and engagement shoot) are absolutely amazing.

AGIL and Melissa in specific captured us and our wedding perfectly. She was flexible and open to ideas (I kept throwing new ideas her way and she kept rolling with them) as well as professional. I was a little stressed out, and she told me a funny dirty joke to calm me down. It worked. I would recommend her to anyone.

We had the joy of working with her for engagement photos (which she was most willing to come to Chicago where we lived at the time), I had a boudoir photo shoot (which she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful for), and our wedding of course! Each session was incredible, and the photos, I couldn't have asked for anything better, they are breathtaking!

We had a small wedding, so photography was very important to us to share the experience with our friends and family members that we couldn't invite to the big day itself. Melissa was great at not only capturing the "big" parts the wedding, but also the fun and intimate moments as well. We were married in a museum and she did an excellent job including the architecture and exhibits in many of our photos. I also appreciated that she understood what we wanted out of the photos; she totally embraced our wedding party doing T-Rex hands in front of the T-Rex skeleton! Throughout the entire process, Melissa was attentive to what we wanted, beyond kind, and just a blast to work with!

Melissa and Sean shot my cousin's wedding in Michigan a few years ago. I knew then that I wanted them to be my photographers. It was a major sacrifice to fly them in, but it was so worth it!! Not only are they awesome photographers, but they are such a great couple to have around on your wedding day. I can't tell you how many of my guest commented on how nice they are and the great job they did and that's without even seeing their final product!

Excellent cannot describe the quality of service of Melissa Squires and Sean. While she was efficient she was also fun, maybe guests had no idea she was taking their picture. The photobooth was a blast and the guests loved it.
