Like many couples, our wedding was delayed a handful of times due to the pandemic. Kim Bakke - A Cottage Gardener and our Venue were the only two vendors that we were able to hold onto throughout our whole wedding planning process due to the devastating affects the pandemic had on the wedding industry during those few years. Kim knew my vision right away (moody Pacific Northwest vibes), and worked with my husband and I to bring it to life despite Paul and I needing to work within a limited budget. Kim's creativity is truly spectacular; floral design is just a part of her it feels like, and she's so passionate and talented. At one point, we even considered eloping and Kim insisted that if we did do that she wanted to make my bouquet for me. How many wedding vendors do you know that are that personally invested in your day? She truly cares about each of her couples. I even contacted Kim more than once to ask her opinion on decor unrelated to florals, and she was happy to share with me her expertise. I'm not a super sappy person, but on our wedding day, when Kim handed me my bouquet I actually got fairly emotional. She works magic, and I can't recommend her enough.

As an event planner, I just worked with Kim and her team on a particularly detailed wedding. Not only was her work beautiful, she was very easy to work with. Even under pressure, she kept a smile on her face and had a great attitude. She made the space look beautiful!
