Upon planning for our marriage, my fiancee and I had decided that we would forego hiring a videographer for our wedding day. In our minds, we figured that having a photographer, photo booth, plus any pictures from guests’ cameras would more than suffice…we couldn’t have been more wrong! Having 3L Films shoot and capture all the unforgettable moments from our special day was by far one of the best decisions we made!

Planning for a wedding is a daunting task in itself, so the fact that ours was a destination wedding added extra layers of complexity. For example, our wedding site was utterly unfamiliar to us since we were all coming from out of state. However, Duy and Nga put our concerns to ease by being so accommodating. They worked around our schedule and drove out to our venue (45 mins away) the day before our wedding day to scout the area for perfect shots of the ceremony and reception. Additionally, later that same evening, they coordinated and blocked out time to film a beach sunset scene of my fiancee and me for extra footage to be used in the final video. It was this type of attention to detail that made the experience so delightful and worthwhile.

On the day of the wedding, the 3L Films team showed up early to shoot our wedding party getting ready then stayed late until the DJ played the very last song. They captured so many magical moments in between. Duy and Nga did a fantastic job providing art direction when needed and capturing our guests’ pure and candid emotions on film. My fiancee and I felt at ease knowing that they knew what shots to capture without ever being pushy. We were engrossed in the events of the day, yet it was reassuring knowing that Duy and Nga were there to document every bit of the experience.

Looking back at the entire experience, I would say the greatest strength that separates 3L Films from the competition is their unique style in art direction and storytelling. Duy carried out his artistic vision as the creative director by telling our story with honesty and grace. The final highlight video encapsulated everything we were looking for – the celebration of joy, love, and family. We were blown away at the production quality; it felt like our very own movie on film! We love watching it back to relive that day. And we couldn’t be happier!!

3L Films was our videographer for our wedding this past June. After researching dozens of videographers, I stumbled upon 3L Films. I watched a few of their videos and liked their style: smooth transitions, steady filming, a background song with some voiceovers, and good coverage of all the important moments of the day. When I got a price quote from Duy, I was amazed that their prices were so reasonable.

After we hired 3L Films, Duy had us fill out a short questionnaire about ourselves and what video style we liked. I appreciated how he incorporated our personalities, the overall feel of our wedding, and our preferences into our final video.

Duy was very friendly and maintained great communication. He was also flexible and accommodating. He rushed to edit our Highlight Video in under 2 months so we could showcase it at our 2nd reception and we were so thankful!

Duy and his team were prompt, efficient, professional, hard-working, nonintrusive, polite to everyone, and worked well with our photographer. We hardly noticed they were there, but they managed to capture every moment! We had an ambitious pre-ceremony schedule and a very packed reception schedule, but Duy's team covered all of it without skipping a beat. Their coverage and shooting skills were excellent. He and his 2nd shooter and assistant all got great angles, so by watching our video you can really get a sense of the full scene that was going on.

We got our final videos on time. We LOVE our Highlight Video; the editing is amazing and they also incorporated some creative/artsy shots. It matched the style we wanted and represented our wedding day well. Duy went above and beyond for us; he included some awesome drone footage in our highlight film and also made us a short Instagram Teaser video. We also ordered the Documentary Film and we're so glad we did!
