Amy is a Treasure!
My husband/then-fiancé decided to plan for a big wedding for our families and friends 6-7 months before the big day. My search for a wedding coordinator came after a conversation with my sister-in law about how beneficial it would be to have a day of/month of coordinator. When I first started meeting with coordinators, I wanted to be picky. After all, this was about to be one of the most important days in my and my husband's lives. I met with one coordinator who arrived late, one who had screaming kiddos in the background, and one who could not give me bride testimonials. Then I came across Girly Pop Bride (Amy Z) on my wedding Facebook group. I thought, "here we go again..." And I was totally wrong. Amy was on time, if not early, to our first meeting, was super down to earth, knowledgeable, transparent, and realistic. I decided to book Amy for our June 1st wedding, and it was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. Amy is not only a true professional, she truly cares about her brides. She even answered questions I had before the month of coordination started. Amy is extremely reasonable, and also helped create a monthly payment plan so I wasn't stressing out about payments all at the end of the wedding.
Once we started month of coordination, Amy kicked into high gear and gave us all the tools needed for successful coordination and planning. My husband and I are totally spreadsheet people, so we found this blueprint INCREDIBLY helpful. Amy also checked in with us every week leading up to our wedding. It also didn't matter what time I texted, Amy would always respond. My husband and I was ask each other "how does she do it?" We found Amy's responsiveness and care to be so supportive and reassuring. Planning a wedding is stressful and scary, but Amy quelled all of our fears. Amy successfully coordinated with our venue manager, photographer, dessert caterer, dinner caterer, content creator, chair rental company, photo booth company, DJ and musicians, and even friends and family who were dropping stuff off for her to set up.
We paid for additional time to help plan our rehearsal, which I would highly recommend. This helped give me, my family, and my bridal party all the coordination needed for a successful wedding ceremony.
Finally, THE BIG DAY. Amy and her fabulous assistant, Diana, took all of our feedback and direction during past meetings to set up our reception hall, cocktail hour area, and wedding ceremony in an outdoor courtyard. All of her coordination really paid off because everything went so smooth! Amy kept us on schedule and even found a pocket of time for me and my husband to have a quiet moment together. Amy kept us completely on track, and did so with the utmost professional attitude. She is the kindest soul and really knows how to keep anxious brides (like me!) grounded! I can't express enough the gratitude I have for Amy's coordination. If you are looking for a coordinator for your upcoming event or wedding, Amy is the only answer! Weddings can be stressful, but with Amy, it doesn't have to be!
