We knew 29 Palms Inn was the right venue the moment we arrived. It's a gorgeous property that's been in the owner's family for several generations, and they have 23 cabins, a restaurant, and an on-site vegetable and fruit farm. There's an oasis, lots of birds, beautiful and clean accommodations, etc.

There were a few minor things in the planning -- it's a small town and they are super laidback, so sometimes I'd have to remind them what I paid for and what I didn't. (They were always good about re-adjusting the bills though.) They put that a day-of coordinator is "recommended" in the contract, but they really actually do want you to hire one. The string lights and dance floor has to be contracted through Classic Party Rentals, high fee if you want to bring your own catering (we did not), cake cutting fee, and corkage fee (but you can bring your own wine).

All in all, I'm rating them five stars because 29 Palms Inn gave us our dream wedding. I can't imagine having a wedding anywhere else. Erica (the catering/restaurant manager at the Inn) was the sweetest and most awesome lady to work with. She was always busy but still took the time to make me feel like our wedding was super important to her and her staff. Liz at the hotel desk took care of any of our guests staying at the Inn and our guests commented on how friendly she was. Our guests also commented that it was a beautiful wedding under the stars, and one of the most unique settings they've been in -- this was important to us since we recently moved away from our friends and family, and since about 95% of them had to fly in or drive anyway, it was important that they love the location so the travel would be a worthwhile trip for them.

We're really grateful to our venue for an unforgettable wedding, and can't wait to return in the future. If you're looking for a beautiful, unique setting for your wedding at reasonable (for wedding prices anyway) cost, consider this venue.

I recently had a small wedding at the 29 Palms Inn, and it was the perfect location for us. We wanted something small and relaxed, and we love the palm desert, so we were so happy to find a great venue that in the area. Since we're out of state I booked it without having seen it in person, but once we got there we fell in love with it. The grounds are really beautiful and I love all the interesting historic cabins and bungalows. I found it really convenient that we were able to do the ceremony and reception all at the inn, and they have a restaurant so they catered it as well. All the staff was super friendly and helpful, and they made it a wonderful experience. Lela was so great with helping me coordinate and figure out the details of the big day. All our family and friends really enjoyed staying there as well, I don't think anyone wanted to leave. I'm already looking forward to future vacations to the 29 Palms Inn with my husband!

We were very excited to get married in such a lovely desert setting. The wedding went perfectly, and it is a really unique place to be married. We highly recommend it.
