Rimrock Ranch

We had the honor of celebrating our wedding at Rimrock Ranch on November 1st, and I cannot emphasize enough what an incredible experience we had. From our first meeting, Gwen made sure we were taken care of — from a detailed list of recommended vendors (all of whom were amazing), to check-in calls as we got closer to our date, being available as my stress started to spike, her rockstar team who welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed — and most of all, the most magical backdrop for our special day. Rimrock was perfect.

We had about 120 guests, which felt like the perfect size for us. There was enough parking for all (we did encourage carpooling and pre-booking taxis just to be sure). We had several of our friends stay on the ranch with us, which made the weekend even more special. We held a welcome dinner Friday night, with about 40-50 people — Ranch staff made sure we had plenty of adult beverages while we enjoyed everyone’s company. The Hatch House was lovely, and the perfect spot for me and my ladies to get our hair and makeup done before the ceremony. And the ceremony location — pure magic.

The venue naturally created so many beautiful photo opportunities for our guests, with that gorgeous sunset leaving everyone in awe. Gwen even offered to let us take some wedding photos with one of her horses! Not too hot or cold, but they had plenty of blankets for anyone who needed one.

By the time it was over, my gratitude was endless — Gwen, Eric and their team took such good care of us, and I felt so happy with every single moment. Five stars, highly recommend!!! Love you, Rimrock!!

We wouldn't change a single thing about our wedding at Rimrock, and wholeheartedly encourage any curious couples to have their own celebrations of love here! Gwen was so helpful every step of the way, and the service provided over our 3 days at Rimrock was top-notch. We knew we were in great hands and our planner was able to coordinate with the Rimrock staff with no issues, leading to a seamless and worry-free wedding day for us. The site is beautiful, remote enough for privacy but still a short drive to grocery stores, etc. Having the option to have friends and family stay onsite was perfect, and the loveliest bonus of all - Gwen's two sweet dogs are there to hang out too : ) There's even horses on the property! If you're looking for a stunning venue with amazing people to help make your wedding dreams come true, look no further than Rimrock Ranch.

The location and venue: Truly the highlight of the entire experience. Even just the drive out to Rimrock through Yucca and Pioneertown is one of the most beautiful drives we have ever experienced. Your guests will feel like they are being transported to a different planet, and that's kind of the whole point. Then when you get to RimRock itself, it feels like an entire world to explore. Gwen and her partner have curated so many amazing features, from the heart shaped Joshua tree alter, to a modern hideaway house for the bride and groom. The highlight for us was dancing under the desert stars after watching another incredible sunset at the venue. The venue is one of a kind!

Working with the host: Gwen and her team provide an incredible experience from start to finish. They are extremely responsive, easy to work with, and on top of all the small details. Given they are such experienced hosts, they really have seen it all and will have answers to all your questions, both about your wedding day, and the surrounding area for your guests. Special shoutout to Reno on Gwen's team, who we used for our florals, and she did such an amazing job.

Guest experience: Closest friends or family can stay onsite, and then we recommend everyone else book airBNB in Pioneertown or Rimrock itself. There are plenty of amazing options and the best part is, there is little to no driving for guests as everyone can stay nearby. It is so unique compared to most other wedding venues, and guests will find it a great and painless experience.

Overall - planning a wedding a rimrock requires a bit more effort than other venues, but wow you will be glad you chose this venue. Having a wedding here is an experience unlike any other. That extra effort you put in to have everyone come out here is well worth it for you and your guests to have such a unique memory for the rest of their life. We got married at Rimrock Ranch back in October, and we simply could not have envisioned it any better. Gwen and Eric do such an amazing job taking care of the land, the lodging, and making sure everyone is taken care of. Their staff is incredibly helpful and diligent, and everyone brought so much energy! We have a soft spot for the desert, and this ranch somehow captures all the beauty and creates a truly spectacular venue. Book this place! You absolutely will not regret it. We had the time of our lives!

We got married at Rimrock Ranch on 9.13.25. We were expecting to have an incredible weekend just based on our tour of the venue last year and our interactions with Gwen and Eric during our planning process, but the result was far and beyond better than we could have ever dreamed up. Gwen and Eric were extremely communicative and responsive, they addressed every question that came up, and provided us with all the info we needed about the venue, logistics, the surrounding area, and what to expect during our stay. It's worth noting that we stayed on the property for four days with friends and family and also hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party on property the night before we got married. The entire team and staff were so friendly and accommodating and made us and our guests feel like friends we've known forever. This place is truly magical - from the perfectly maintained grounds to the vintage aesthetics curated (and hand made in many instances) you can feel how much love and care has been put in to making Rimrock the place that it is today. The venue has a rich history behind it and it feels like such a privilege to have been able to put our personal stamp on it for even just a weekend. Between the two event days, we worked with vendors provided by Rimrock, but also brought in multiple vendors and Gwen and Eric worked seamlessly with our planners and vendors to coordinate deliveries, set up, and event kickoff. Rimrock's onsite team provided excellent service for our bar and kept everything looking tidy and put together the entire weekend. Being able to rent out the entire property for our wedding party made the weekend extra special and we felt really lucky to be able to give our friends and family that kind of "home away from home" type of experience for a long weekend. And as an added bonus, we also were able to bring our pup and she had a blast playing all weekend with Gwen and Eric's sweet dogs, too. We hosted 100 guests and we had more than enough space for guests to spread out comfortably but it also still felt intimate enough to mingle with everyone. The property inherently provides amazing vegetation and florals as well as seating areas and fire pits. With hosting multiple events and a tight budget, hosting our weekend here had some built in features (florals, rentals, tables, glassware, place settings, restrooms, lodging) that made it possible to achieve our goals and stick to our budget plans. The collaboration and pre-existing personal and business relationship between Gwen and Eric & team and our planners (Bee Loved) was a game changer and we'd highly recommend working with local hi/low desert vendors and teams. A thousand thank you's would never do our gratitude justice - thank you Gwen & Eric for an amazing weekend. We will be back to visit!!!

My now-husband and I had this fever dream of coming from Canada and organizing this crazy delicious dance party in the California high-desert for our wedding; we didn’t plan for a trade war and every other uncertainty that 2025 has brought to us. Despite these concerns, our wedding more than surpassed our expectations. Someone wrote at some point that getting married in the desert is not for the faint hearted; it’s messy, hot, sometimes things don’t go according to plan.
Rimrock Ranch is an absolute gorgeous place, magical, spiritual. Although our guests were curious about our choice of destination initially, everyone kept telling us it was the best wedding they’d been to. Our team of vendors starting with Gwen, Eric and Reno were fabulous. I feel like saying more would spoil the experience, you need to live it for yourself. This is a weekend you’ll never forget.

The lodging accommodations were beyond amazing—comfortable, stylish, and perfect for our family and friends to relax and celebrate with us. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and it felt like a retreat in the middle of paradise.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. We had scoured the hi-desert and almost thought that the perfect venue didn't exist... until we toured Rimrock Ranch.

The location is absolutely stunning, with Joshua trees scattered across the landscape, rocky mountains in the distance, and beautiful western cabins surrounded by open desert. It made for the most breathtaking backdrop to our special day. The venue itself is simple yet elegant, and allowed us to easily personalize the space to fit our vision.

The staff are exceptional and made us feel so valued throughout the entire process. They were incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their warmth and professionalism truly made a difference, and we felt supported every step of the way. Reno, Gwen, Eric, and all the staff are rockstars whose expertise in weddings really shined.

Having our families and wedding party housed on-site was such a bonus, it made the wedding weekend an easy, fun, and camp-like experience. We stayed for three nights, and having that extra time to relax at Rimrock made the place feel like home—it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The Rimrock Ranch Team was amazing and so incredibly helpful throughout the weekend. We had our entire wedding party and families stay with us at the ranch to keep those most important close all weekend. The accommodations were fantastic. Having the entire ranch to ourselves meant that people could spread out if they wanted to and not feel cramped. Not to mention all the places for photos to be taken. If you are looking for a desert vibe for your wedding, this is the place to do it.
