My friends and I have been going to 19 Blue for years for our haircuts so it was a no brainer when I was picking a salon to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. They came bright and early to our hotel room and did my hair and makeup and my four bridesmaids. Every one of us looked amazing after they were done. Not only did we love what they did, it felt like we were hanging out with friends the whole day! I highly recommend them for weddings and for your regular haircuts!

I am so happy that I had Ann do my wedding hair! She is my normal hair stylist, and I trust her completely. We did a hair trial at my haircut a few months before the wedding, and it made me so excited to get all prettied up to be a bride!
I also had Tawny (19 blue’s makeup artist) do my makeup. We did a trial, and there were a few things I wasn’t crazy about, and informed her of, and she happily made the changes to my look on my wedding day. I’m looking forward to my next excuse to have my makeup done by Tawny!

My bridesmaids also got their hair done at 19 blue (by Tawny and Savannah), and we were all very happy with how it turned out, and how our hair dos held up in the wind that day. We did go into the salon, because it was not too far out of the way for us, but I know they will come on site to take care of bridal (party) makeup and hair.

19 Blue is the best salon in Santa Barbara...hands down. The venue is super cute and hip with big windows that let in lots of natural light...so it's perfect for capturing your wedding hair and makeup on camera.

They are super accommodating to wedding parties and make it a really fun event to get ready with all of your bridesmaids. We brought in breakfast goodies and just hung out while everyone got beautiful. I had 9 bridesmaids and 7 of them got their hair down by the stylists there as well as myself. Every one of them looked AMAZING and I LOVED my hair! Ashleigh is the best...she does my hair color on a regular basis but this was my first time having an updo...and per usual, she rocked it!

Also...you have to have your makeup done by Tawny. She is another stylist in the salon who does hair as well, but she is a super talented makeup artist. I was a little weary of getting my makeup done because I wanted to look more natural...but seriously, she made me look amazing without looking like I had tons of makeup on. It would be a big mistake to not have her do your makeup!
