I have so many great things to say, I don’t know where to begin!

My husband and I got married at the 1620 Winery back in February 2020. It was a perfect winter wedding venue. The indoor space allows for a ceremony and reception spot all in one without interrupting the staff when they flip the room. The staff flip the room so fast. The tables and centerpieces were all done up in a prompt and impeccable fashion. I was impressed by their ability to do this! The venue and staff were very accommodating to my needs and the needs of our guests (accessibility wise). They were able to do last minute changes such as supply alternative chairs for my guests in need which I appreciated.

We first met with Raquel during our initial tour and I was sold. The unique building was special to me as it was a place I used to visit with my dad as a child when it was a different business. The space has been transformed into a modern rustic venue that wowed all of our guests. From the chandelier to the unique bar, it’s truly a one of a kind venue! We then met with Jenn and Glen to start planning. Personally I was dreading the nitty gritty details (I am not much of a planner) but Jenn and Glen made the process easy and simple. I really appreciated their prompt email responses and willingness to work with my budget friendly ideas! My husband and I were very impressed with the venue’s ability to accommodate our custom menu options. They worked with a specific in house caterer and it was a breeze to work with them! We LOVED our taco bar!

The day of was so smooth and comfortable. Kate and Jenn are pros at this stuff and made sure the day was picture perfect! Kate was so attentive and made sure everything was on schedule. I didn’t have a single worry!

Despite the 1620Winery being our one of a kind wedding venue, I would totally have another event here if I could!!! It was everything my husband and I asked and hoped for and so much more!

We were lucky enough to be the first wedding at this brand new, amazing venue. We decided to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the Cordage Park location - and it was the best decision we could have made! The brick walls, tall beams, and big sliding doors were enough to grab our attention while searching for wedding venues. But, seeing their vision for the space really sealed the deal. They had an incredible vision and transformed it in to a beautiful venue. Not only is the space amazing, but their team is as well! Working with the team at 1620 was a dream. Jenn and Glen really know what they are doing. They were the calming, professional presence needed on our wedding day. They catered to our every need and made our wedding day everything we could have imagined. The team at 1620 was easy to communicate with and came up with the best ideas on how to utilize the space, as well as run the day. All of our guests absolutely loved the venue. No one could believe we were their first wedding, everything went so smoothly! The food was another thing everyone raved about. Chef Brent Clark did an amazing job feeding all of our hungry guests and making sure we had a delicious meal. We cannot say enough good things about this venue, the owners, and their team. I HIGHLY recommend 1620 Winery for your wedding day dreams to come true.

I am still on cloud 9 from our wedding at 1620! I am so happy I was lucky enough to have my wedding there. There are so many things to compliment them for, but I really want to review the service we received while working with 1620, because now having gone through the process of planning a wedding, this is the most important factor in choosing a venue.

Our initial venue tour was scheduled by the event coordinator, Jen, but when arriving, we were so surprised to be met by the owner, Raquel! She sat us down, got to know us, explained all the hard work she and her husband have put into the building and this really impressed us, as we felt so welcome!

From there, Jenn was our point of contact for the 2 years of planning and all I can say is WOW. She is amazing at what she does. Jen was my saving grace through Covid-rescheduling. She and the owners were SO understanding and accommodating. We never had to worry about anything working with them throughout the rescheduling. Jen’s calm & patient demeanor is exactly what a bride needs to have in a coordinator when planning a wedding. She is so down to earth, yet an executor – she takes notes and everything went exactly as planned.

Our day finally arrived, and Jen and her staff bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect from the schedule, the food, the people, the décor, EVERYTHING. They made it all about us and our day and didn’t let us forget that, which I am forever grateful for. We had one server dedicated to us the whole day and night, Kelly, who is outstanding! She kept us sane, fed, and happy throughout the Wedding. I am so grateful to her. You rock Kelly!

Lastly, I’d like to point out that they went as far as to pack up my décor nicely and neatly for me to pick up the next day. SO nice of them.

Venue: Speaks for itself. Absolutely gorgeous.
Food: AMAZING – everyone complimented it & enjoyed their meals. Even the cheese from our charcuterie board was some of the best cheese I’ve ever had. They have plenty of options to choose from and everything was served warm and delicious! That’s hard to find in a venue!

Finally, I can’t say enough great things about this venue and Jenn & Raquel. I’m so thankful to them, and would recommend this as the best venue in New England!

Our wedding at 1620 Winery was stunning and completely exceeded our expectations! Jenn was so helpful and made every effort to make sure our day ran smoothly! All our decor and personal touches were arranged beautifully. The building itself is actually so beautiful and tastefully decorated, we didn’t choose to go overboard with decor, but she still made sure it looked spectacular. We had a server assigned to us all night, and she was helpful in making sure we got time to eat and had everything we needed. Our guests gave so many compliments on the food, the setup of the building and the overall experience. We rented all 3 rooms for our guest list of 80 people and it fit everyone perfectly (with room to space for larger groups, while also not making the small group seem lost). 1620 Winery has our highest recommendation!

We got married in September at the 1620 winey in cordage park and the venue did not disappoint. In fact, it was Hands down AMAZING! Jenn and Glenn were OUTSTANDING! The venue, the service, the staff, everything was flawless. The venue is unique and absolutely beautiful , our guests have not stopped raving about it. Thank you for making our day so special!

From when we first looked at the venue pre-construction, to walking in on the night of our reception, we have always been amazed at how beautiful and unique this space was! Jenn walked us through the whole process and made us feel so comfortable and we loved working with the whole 1620 Winery team. Everything went perfectly at our reception, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. All of our guests were amazed with the space and how "us" it was! We were lucky enough to have the fireplaces going during the reception, and it was so cozy and inviting without overheating the space. The food and bar options were very customizable and they could cater to our specific needs (ie: gluten free). The space felt very authentic, and the way they worked the rope into the decor, like on the bar, was beautiful. We also enjoyed the wine on tap! The grape arbor chandelier and the barrel room were perfect as well. Highly highly recommend!

From the very first moment my husband and I walked into 1620 Winery over a year ago, we knew that we had found our dream venue. We both looked at each other and in unison said “Wow,” but since it was the first venue we had visited we thought it may have just been our excitement. Nope, after visiting a few other venues, nothing compared, and gave us that “Wow” factor that 1620 did when we walked through their doors. I mean, have you seen that chandelier? Perfection. So, we took a leap on a venue that was still relatively new at the time and are we ever glad we did. Jenn and Glen are a fantastic team, and they put us at ease right from the very beginning. They are both so down to earth and fun to work with, and so responsive to any question (no matter how silly). We trusted them completely to understand our vision. Our wedding day was even better than we could have ever dreamed up for ourselves. The wedding day was so smooth and seamless. They have it down pat. We didn’t worry about a thing on our wedding day, and we could both fully enjoy our magical moment. The décor is already so beautiful in the space, so we didn’t have to do much (which was great, one less thing to really think about!). The whole space is just so inviting and beautiful. And the food is outstanding. It was SO delicious. Our guests are still raving about our bacon bar! If you are contemplating 1620 Winery as your wedding venue, we cannot recommend it enough. Our evening was magical and the best day ever (I’m truly not exaggerating). I’m so sad it’s over because we can’t work with Jenn and Glen anymore, but I’m so happy we have a place that we can go back to again and again for various other events. Thank you to everyone at 1620 Winery for giving us our best day ever to date. Our wedding will be talked about for years to come because of the incredible job and attention to detail you provided us. We are so appreciative and grateful of everything you did, running events is no easy feat, and you all did it effortlessly! We will cherish our wedding at 1620 Winery forever.

The weather in New England decided to give us a Nor'easter the week of the wedding and threatened to leave us without power. Jenn Brodeur is the Wedding Coordinator for this beautiful venue and was amazing to deal with - even when we didn't think it was going to happen. No power FOR THE 3 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING!! You were calm, helpful and always ready with answers. I am so glad we decided to go for it. The power was restored and it was a beautiful wedding. If anyone is thinking about this venue, I highly recommend it. Beautiful and well done! Memories to last a lifetime....

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect weekend thanks to 1620 Winery! As someone who loves reviews, it was slightly nerve-wracking to book a venue that hadn't even had a wedding yet. But Jenn and Glen eased any nervousness I may have had throughout all of our interactions together via email and in person when visiting the winery. We really wanted a unique and rustic venue, which can be hard to find in MA, and as wine-lovers this was perfect. The venue itself is so beautiful and I loved that we didn't have to overdo it on decor because of what is already there. We also did our rehearsal dinner at their Wine Bar downtown and our friends and family raved about the space and food; we were excited to say just wait until tomorrow! Brent, the chef, was great to work with at our tasting and our guests absolutely loved the food from appetizers (must try the lobster mac!) to dinner. We also have to give a shout out to our server Kate who was so sweet, helpful and there for us all evening and at our rehearsal. We loved how they set up all of the decor we had brought in and it felt so nice to trust that whatever they did, would be amazing! The transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was so smooth and our guests enjoyed being in the space for the entire night. We cannot wait to see all of our pictures from the day and see what our photographers did with the space, which they said they also had a blast working at. Jenn, Glen and the staff made us feel so relaxed the day of our wedding, that we were able to truly enjoy the evening and take it all in. We could not have asked for a better experience working with 1620 Winery during such an exciting time in our lives and you will not regret it!

I was determined to find a unique venue for our wedding -- somewhere my friends and family had never experienced before. The winery, with it's gorgeous chandeliers, high ceilings, rustic vibe, and exposed brick provided us not only with a special setting, but also an incredible, delicious menu to choose from! Jenn and Kate were always available and more than helpful in the weeks leading up to our big day AND ever-present on the day of -- every detail was executed flawlessly!
