Something Borrowed Ideas

Andrene, on November 17, 2010 at 2:08 PM Posted in Planning 0 17

I've got the something old (shoes); something new (dress); and something blue (small pin in bouquet) figured out. But, for the life of me I can't think of a something new. Any ideas/suggestions would be welcome.

I saw on a bridal show one time a girl had a little itty bitty frame with ribbon, sewn onto her bouquet with a picture of her father who had passed away. I'd like to see if I can find them and four little pictures of all of my grandparents. Not sure if pictures can count as the "old", but just a thought :o)

KK: it may just come down to the hair pin as I can't think of anything else.

I loaned my friend Emi my Ralph Lauren Romance perfume because it is her favorite. My something borrowed is my mom's small diamond earrings for the two holes at the top of my ear. I can't wear gold so i can't wear them long but I can hang with them just through the ceremony.

I'm borrowing a necklace from my aunt. Jewelry is always something easy to do.

I was going to say to borrow a penny and put it in your shoe.

My something old....both of us! No, seriously, a rosary the FH bought me the first time we traveled. Destination was Mission San Juan Capistrano.

Something new.....The watch FH gave me last week.

Something borrowed.... My MOH will give me a penny for my shoe.

Something blue.... I have a tiny Italian horn with a blue bow I will pin to the waistband of my pantyhose.

My borrowed is my old (jewelry). Is there a rule that the something borrowed you have to be wearing? Could you it the cake set that you cut with or something like that?
