Mason Jar Club
So many of us are using mason jars to decorate our weddings with, we could start a club!!

It is so awesome that we can all use the same idea like mason jars and yet all of our weddings will be different from each other!!

Just came back from the fabric/craft store a little while ago. I got fabric for 8 table runners, favors, and some mason jars for holding candles and decorating the ceremony site! Only $80.00 for everything!!!

Def. stealing this idea...

We're using mason jars for our centerpieces. Here's a pic of my inspiration and the actual centerpiece, although my picture doesn't do it justice.

I'm a mason jar bride as well! I love this thread. Loving all these ideas!

-Totally doing this. But not all the mason jars will be candles.. like every tenth one will be something like the second picture. Not quite as big.. but it will be sitting in a mason jar instead of a vase. :)

I'm using jars for my favors. What I'm doing is having my mom/sister/FH eat only "Classico" and "Barilla" tomato sauce so I can have the jars for my favors! LOL. My peeps are going to be eatinbg spagghetti for a while! ;)

Kacie, the first one you posted was my inspiration. I showed that to FS and we both fell in love with the idea. We are going to try to replicate that pic. Then we are using them as aisle runners with shepperds hooks. Here are a few more of my ideas.

i'm using mason jars (and galvanized pails) for my center piece flowers (sunflowers) and candles, for drinking glasses during the ceremony (having hot chocolate and warm cider, i'm wrapping them in bandanas so my guests don't burn their hands!), and i'm filling mini's with home made jams for favors! i love the shepherd's hooks! i mights have to steal that idea...

To my mason jar girls, question:

A good friend of mine knows a man who does custom glass work, and can customize jars. Her mom actually got a jar (not necessarily a mason jar, there was nothing written on it) and he "engraved" it (I dont know the correct term) with their last name on it.

I would LOVE to have a K- the first letter of our last name- on jars, but she said he charges about $50 a jar.. And that's way too steep. I still think it would be nice to do at least ONE, but what would I use that one specific jar for? Maybe put it at the head table? Opinions please :)
