My fiance and I decided to do a photo guest book! We found a few instant cameras for cheap, plenty of film, a guest book, and a guest book sign. Super excited to see how it turns out! This is the sign we purchased:
And this is the guest book we bought (though it's the photo from the website, those aren't our names or wedding date on it):

All these are really cool.


I try to own as little belongings as possible, so I never even considered a guest book. If I had to do something, it would have to be an object that I would use often, for the guests to be writing down their names in place of a guest book.

My husband is in the Army so I couldn't resist this. Some couples or families chose to share a star, but i still loved everything about this idea!! I'm all about the non-traditional guest books.

I did thumbprint canvases!

We put our engagement photos into an album that guests will sign. Kills two birds with one stone as we will be able to display the pictures and written words in a coffee table book. We went through www.artifactuprising.com for the album.

We are doing a polaroid guest book. Ours has little envelopes to put the photos in and comes with little note cards, which I love just in case anyone is a little photo shy or just wants their comments to be private.

That's an option for us as well! My FBIL and his wife had one at their wedding. I thought it was nice for guests to look at their photos, but also sign!

this is not ours but it's the exact same one we got. Got it from Etsy. You could choose how many hearts you want and that determines the price.
