Grandpa bride dance instead of father daughter...what song????

Private User, on January 10, 2013 at 12:16 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

So my dad has never been around and my grandpa has been everything to me he means the world to me and I would love him to walk me down the aisle and also share a dance with me. I wouldn't want it any other way only problem is I don't know what song.. I don't want a song that says dad daddy etc. I was thinking "Isn't she lovely" what do you think any suggestions???

Isn't She Lovely is a good choice

Because You Loved Me (Celine Dion)

Wind Beneath My Wings (Bette Midler)

That's a good choice. There's also "I loved her first" by Heartland.

My grandparents raised me because neither of my parents were around until later in life, but at this moment I plan on dancing with my grandfather to Cinderella by Steven Curtis Champan. Although it speaks of a father and daughter, I tell people that hes my father because he may as well be.
