Well, where to begin... It was in 2006 and we both were Lowe's employees! Both of us weren't looking for a serious relationship, but my best friend (Kara) at the time told me about this "guy" and I honestly didn't think nothing of it! As the days went by, Kara wanted me to go up to him and talk to him, but with me being shy I avoided it! One day, I happen to see him and I was all smiles! I began talking with Kara and she gave him my # and from that day forward we texted/called each other everyday. We weren't dating, but really liked one another! Well, finally after a few weeks of texting/calling we began hanging out almost everyday. My friend Jessica (still friends with) whom worked there too was dating Aaron (at the time) and all 4 us starting hanging out. Clay and I decided to hang out at Jessica's house one night and from that evening forward we were inseparable! I didn't think it was possible to fall in love again, but it happened! About a month into our relationship he took me out to dinner... thinking, oh it's just dinner! :) Well, he leaned in and said, "LeCee, you know how much I love you, right? I said, yes!" He then gave me a Kay's bag...thinking, what could this possibly be! I opened it and there was a ring! I was speechless! He said, "This is a promise ring, not an engagement ring..." I couldn't help, but smile the whole time because I never had felt anything like this with anyone! We're so lucky to have each other! We both are truly blessed to have one another because without each other we wouldn't know where life would have led us! We're each others best friend! He has taught me so, so much in life and I'm truly blessed, excited to be marrying him! The day is waiting on us and we could not be more excited! All I can say is, love is something everyone should have and if you have it don't loose it because it's one of the best feelings you'll ever have! God gave each of us each other and we're so in love with each other that our relationship is something special! After waiting 7 years in February w'ere more then ready to make this commitment.. it's been a long, long journey, but we are ready!
