We started our website on July 25th. It sort of has found a following. We are only having 45 guests for the wedding, but a lot of Facebook friends visit it regularly and a lot of brides have found it for DIY blog posts. Craziness.

I had 420 views when only 20 people knew about it I reset the counter now that my UK invites have gone out last month and we are at 202 already. I haven't even posted it on facebook (I don't intend to either!

Sarah, what's the difference between page view and vistors?

My FH is an I.T. super freak, so he somehow attached StatPressV to the admin section of our site. It keeps track of all sorts of numbers... visitors, pageviews, what websites visitors are referring from, spiders, etc.

Visitors is the number of people that come to the site. Often people click on multiple posts or pages within the sites... those are pageviews. For example, if you go to my main site, that counts as one pageview. If you click on Chapel Photos, Registries or a link to a specific blog post, those are all separate pageviews.

    Wow Sarah! That is crazy!

We had about 550 views from sending out the save the date...since sending invites we have had about 450...wedding is still 2 months out. Ours is just a basic ww site...not a blog or anything.

It is totally crazy. I thought my aunts in Minnesota would be the only ones reading it. My FH has always told me that I should be a mommy blogger. I may give it a crack after we recover from the wedding. Who knows...
