All tablecloths the same color?

kaylarae, on December 22, 2014 at 4:57 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 19

Just curious, are all of your tablecloths the same color?

Our tables will all have white tablecloths with burlap and lace table runners and coral napkins (our colors are ivory, blush, coral). We will also need tablecloths for the cake table, popcorn bar, dessert bar and guest book table. Should these all be white as well or should I use these ones to pull in some blush colors or go with a softer, off-white/ivory?

Good question- I think I'm going to do a different (darker) color for the important tables. My chairs are white, table clothes are white, tebt is white so this is the next task for me

My cloths were all white, but then I had two different overlays: pink and gray. For the special tables, we had table runners over the white cloths.

All of our tablecloths are the same color but they are going to have different runners. We are having white tablecloths with an overlay that is white with gold glittery filigrees on it. The runners will be black, white and gold. Our colors are black, white and gold so it works Smiley smile

We are going to have white tableclothes with blue runners on all of the tables but I was thinking about getting overlays for the sweetheart table, cake table, and any other ones that I want to stand out.

We are doing the white tablecloths that come with the venue for the ballroom. They have specialty linens for the cake table and cocktail tables but I haven't picked those out yet! I'm thinking of doing a light blue (our colors are cornflower blue and white)

Our guest tables will have white tablecloths with 3 styles of white battenburg lace overlays with navy linen napkins. For the important tables, I plan to sew tablecloths in the same navy linen as the napkins. The sweetheart table will just have one of the white battenburg lace overlays on it.

I am going to order willow green tablecloths for the dining tables (there will be about 20 tables) and I ordered three "special" ivory and gold floral table cloths for the cake table, sweetheart table, and gift table.

The sweetheart table will be a full rosette linen in silver, the special guest tables will have a full rosette linen in red with a rhinestone runner, and the regular guest tables will have a white base linen with a black runner.

No the sweetheart table will be all white with silver and glitter accents. The reserved parents and bridal tables will be ivory with pink, malibu, and glitter accents. While the other tables will alternate pink tableclothes with malibu / glitter accents and malibu table clothes with pink / glitter accents.

His #1 Lady -- your rhinestone runners sound pretty. Great idea to take the special guest tables up a notch.

I was just thinking about this last week. I decided to do white table cloths for all the guest tables and gray table cloths for the sweetheart and cake tables. I'm sticking with my "simple but elegant" theme and skipping runners. My plan is to sprinkle orange rose petals around the base of the centerpieces.

Here are a couple of pictures of our linens. The first picture is the guest table look and the second one is our sweetheart table. We also have a darker shiny gray that will be used as an accent on the cocktail tables. The cake table will be covered with a white/off white lace table cloth of my grandmother's. The guest book, gift table, escort card table will be in white I think. I can't remember for sure.

ETA: I apologize for the sideways pictures! I can't figure out how to change that.

I bought these overlays for all the tables....at max guest count we will have 20 tables and I bought 24....they will be laid over standard white table cloths. I was looking for a sequined one for the cake table and the gift/escort card tables, but they are no longer a priority and will most likely use the extra ones. Since we will have two different centerpieces mixed on the guest tables, I wanted to keep the same linens...didn't want things to look TOO busy!

Our cloths are all white with red runners. Under each center piece will be a black maltese cross to tie in our red, black, and white color scheme. I like your thought of having the other tables a different color!

My wedding colors are turquoise and red. I am doing turquoise table cloths with a burlap runner, red flowers and neutral centerpiece decor (wood colors with some sparkle). White napkins with burlap/twine rings. Debating about whether or not to make the sweetheart table turquoise, too? I feel like if I made it white it would be boring compared to the other tables. And I assumed all of the other table cloths - cake table, guestbook table, etc. would all be the white linens the venue provides.

Do it different. All different colors all same colors-doesn't matter. It's what you would like to see on your day.
