My fiance & I went to Showorks & sat with them for at least an hour going over what we were looking for. We were very specific & didn't really need any of the creative/planning part but more so the execution of the event. We thought it would be better to get our chairs, linens, lighting, wall draping, flowers, etc... from one source rather than subcontracting 10 difft vendors. Sadly, they kept harrassing us to give them our "budget" rather than telling us how much these specific items would cost. I made it pretty clear that those items were necessities rather than luxuries & we would pay what they cost but they refused to give me an estimate without a "budget." After being annoyed by this I gave them a random number to appease them & they told me they would have my quote within a week. I did not get a quote until ONE MONTH later! I laughed when I read the email seeing how they tried to compare themselves to design companies like concept bait. Also their office was gross. There was food crumbs everywhere, an old hat lying on the waiting room couch, a mess everywhere you looked. Very unprofessional.

As a matter of company policy we do require budgeting guidelines from our bridal clients. This allows us to better understand your particular needs and where the budget is best spent. Without a budget to work off, we run the risk of providing you a concept that you love at a price you simply may not be able to afford. Unless you are an industry professional, many brides do not realize the costs associated with custom decor & floral production- end result being many brides and grooms get sticker shock. This is why we strive to have open budget communication with our bridal clients. This allows us to best provide the overall look the bride is seeking, but at the cost they can afford.
Because we are a custom company, we simply do not "mass produce" weddings, like some other companies. We take the time to design each and every event specific to the clients needs. No two brides are alike and neither should their weddings be. Since we are a custom design company, will not always be a perfect fit for every bride. We are sorry your experience at Showorks did not meet your expectations. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
