My fiancee and I shopped around before we decided to buy our ring from here. Most of the other popular chains send out your rings to get sized (which takes weeks to get back) where Shane Co. has onsite jewelers that can size your ring in a couple of days. Included in the price of the ring is a FREE lifetime warranty where every 6 months they give my ring a check-up and retouch/fix anything that needs it. The other stores charge an additional fee on top of the price of the ring. I work as a nurse in a very busy hospital, so my hair is always messy by the end of the day and clothes are a wreck. Most places treat you differently based on the way you look, but here I get treated with respect and compassion. Last year I picked out a an engagement ring set that was gorgeous and super sparkly, but I really like vintage, Today, Kelly worked out a deal where I can upgrade my setting and stone, and also get my fiancee's wedding band. He and Patty worked hard to make sure I got what I had my heart set on and it actually was less than if I had bought them separately. I got the full price I paid for my previous engagement set INCLUDING TAXES! Even though the stone I had originally was chipped in places because it was a white sapphire, they give you the full purchase price. There prices are very reasonable to me. They are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and treat you like a person and really take care of you and precious jewelry. I would never shop anywhere else but here from now on! Don't waste your time with those other chains, go somewhere were you treat you like family.

We worked with Kinga at the Tigard, OR store. She took us through the different styles of settings (halo, channel, cathedral, etc.). We picked out three at a time and compared them to one another. When we were ready to look at a 4th, we had to put back one of the three we liked least. Finally we narrowed down the selection to our top 2.

She provided diamond education on cut, clarity, color, etc. showing us different stones representing various grades for each of the aspects. We looked at the stones through the loop and identified exactly what she shared with us for each stone. With the education provided, we knew our desired grade for color and clarity. We had a carat range, since 5pts doesn't make much difference more or less. But we couldn't find a stone at our budget. So, we took to the search engine at the store computer. We located an item that we wanted to see, but the inventory computer was indicating the stone was out. Kinga let us know that she would check the end of day inventory and let us know which store had that stone.

Kinga phoned us first thing in the morning to let us know that the stone was in Tigard. We went down there that afternoon. She had the setting and stone all ready for our viewing, and wanted to make sure we inspected it for satisfaction.

I had my band sized up (6 to 7), since when I was trying bands on, my finger got swollen. After having the ring for 2 weeks, It as flopping around on my ringer like a fish. So, I had it sized down (7 to 6). Within 3 months, I had lost 2 of the smaller pave stones. The first time, Shane Co replaced it as part of the warranty agreement. The second time, it was though to be due to sizing up/down. So, we exchanged my band for a 6 from the factory and reset my solitaire stone in the new setting. It's been 7 months since then and I've had no issues.

I want to say that everyone at Shane co. made our experience easy, enjoyable and made me want to spend more!! Amber, Britney and Lori (store manager) were amazing. The time and effort Amber put in to helping my fiance with his ring selection, and my ring, was top notch. Even when she knew we were going to look at Genesis she still continued to help me later over the phone to get exactly what I wanted!

My fiance and I had all of our wedding jewelry done at the Shane Co in Overland Park (Kansas City area). They custom made my beautiful engagement ring and will be engraving my fiance's wedding band in accordance with a family tradition. This is one of the few places I was able to find anywhere that engraves on the outside of rings- most jewelers will only do the inside.
Everyone that has helped us at this store has been excellent. Shane Co does not pay commission, and it shows in how you are treated. We had shopped around at a major jeweler to be pushed, pressured, and pay nearly three times as much for my ring if we had gone with them.

This was the best customer service we got anywhere... we got my engagement ring here, and I changed my mind and decided to return it. The staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and professional every step of the way. We will definitely be back for other jewelry.

My Husband gave me his grand mothers ring as my engagement ring. it is absolutely amazing and so precious to me. This ring is from the 1920's and because he didn't know if I wanted to take the diamonds from it make something more current or keep it as it was he gave it to me as is. I chose to keep it as is to show the history however it still needed so work since it was so old. We took it to Shane Co to have it sized, re dipped and shanked. I was so anxious to receive it back. Shane Co did a great job and quickly. I receive so many compliments on it. I would recommend Shane Co to anyone in the market for jewelery or jewelry repair.

We had my engagement ring done custom, but we searched for a matching band for months. Shane Co had the exact band that I wanted at an extremely reasonable price. This location has very helpful and professional staff members, however I must note that the location in Westminster should be avoided. I have never had very good luck with their professionalism nor with their helpfulness. In fact, the ring that was provided to me by the Littleton location, I was told they couldn't make my size for the ring by the Westminster location. Just and FYI =)

My husband and I only buy our jewelry at Shane Co. The sales associates are always professional and courteous. Their knowledge base is strong and I love the fact that we can make a custom piece of jewelry so that we get exactly what we want. What sets them apart from other jewelers is: 1). No high pressure sales people, 2.) high quality jewelry and 3.) they stand by each piece purchased. Customer service is, in my opinion, top notch. I will never buy from any one else.

These guys really are the best! Totally no pressure when shopping and they really do help you find something amazing that is in YOUR budget. Each time my fiancé and I have gone in we've been greeted with a smile and a sincere desire to help us get what we want, when we want. My fiancé ring was a special order so we had to decide on a ring that we liked and then return later when we had the money to buy. Absolutely no pressure to buy before we were ready and then when we returned the sales person remembered us and was happy to help us with our purchase. My boyfriend and I started looking at Shane Co. for an engagement ring, but wanted to look at other jewelers to make sure that we were getting what we wanted and for a good price.

After leaving Shane Co, we went to Distinctive Diamonds. My first reaction is that there was a sheriff's deputy sitting at the front door and greeting you. It made me feel like I was in the ghetto somewhere. After getting over that, we ended up having trouble getting someone to actually help us. When we finally did have someone help us, I told the sales lady what I liked and she took me to something totally different and tried to talk me into something else. Needless to say, we were less than pleased.

Then we went across the street to Jared. The sales lady pulled a couple of diamonds for me to see, one of which was their signature "Leo" diamond. My first reaction was, "OMG, this is yellow!" When I told her that I felt it looked a little yellow, she said that it was because of the yellow walls and that we would need to go outside to see how it sparkles. We did end up doing this, but my gut reaction was that even a CZ would look pretty and sparkle outside, what is that going to tell me? They also kept taking my boyfriend away from me and talking him into things that I probably otherwise wouldn't have let him be talked in to. They ended up, before I even knew it, telling him that the diamonds and setting that I was looking at couldn't be guarenteed to be there unless he applied for a Jared card and bought it all today with the thought that he could cancel it within 30 days if he wanted to. Even though the price was $500 over what he said his budget was, he reluctantly went through with this option because she said "I can't do any better than that", but had buyers remorse afterwards. He also learned after paying and taking a closer look at the receipt, Jared had some hidden fees that we were not expecting including a fee to set the diamond in the setting and a fee for the warranty.

We then went to dinner and talked about how when we left Shane Co. we felt all warm and fuzzy inside and when we left Jared, we felt like we had been duped. The next day, my boyfriend called to make an appt to go back to Shane Co and talk to Jen P. so that we could see again what they had to offer and compare it to what we had seen and been talked into at Jared.

We went to Shane Co again today and saw Jen P. for a second time. She was awesome!! She was able to answer all of our questions for us about what we were feeling uneasy about with Jared as well as educated us on the actual diamonds and settings. She also asked what my boyfriend's budget was and actually was able to keep us not only within it, but even a little under (including tax)! (He was thrilled!) There were no hidden fees on the receipt either, just the diamond and the setting like we had talked about. We walked out of there extremely happy and comfortable with the decision we had just made. We also had a better quality setting and diamond than we were looking at at Jared and it was $1,000 cheaper!

We immediately left Shane Co. and drove to Jared to sign the papers to cancel the stuff my boyfriend he kept on hold. We will be doing all of our business at Shane Co. from now on! We are very satisfied customers and would recommend them to anyone!

I have founded at ShaneCo , what i needed. Before going to the store, i have been thru all the stores arround Portland .Of course i had a budget in mind, and also i was looking for the quality .All the other stores were selling lower quality stones for my budget. So , ShaneCo here i am going to visit you . Service customer was really nice and polite, and they helped me with everything i needed, as soon i walked in the store. I did my homework at home, so basically i had a print out of the ring i was looking for. They told me that the stone is in Georgia, and the ring in a different location, but they will be there tuesday today being friday. Overall it was a great experience, way better then going to all the other stores in the Mall.
