We got married on April 18, 2010 in the Tides (OC/NCO Club) at Patrick Air Force Base in Satellite Beach, FL. In June 2010, I emailed Marty and asked about our wedding video that was paid for months in advance of the wedding. He stated he needed the music played at our wedding so he could incorporate into the video, which I sent to him. To date, I still do not have my wedding video and now he is telling me that he is not sure if he has it because they do not keep all videos they produce. How can that be if he never sent it to me in the first place? He stated that he has tried to contact me on many occasions, and I never returned his calls/messages. My email address changed a couple of months ago, and I sent notice to all my contacts, including him. My phone number has not changed. I never heard from him either by phone or my old email address, and he has not responded to my emails until just now. I told him if I do not receive my wedding video as promised, then we want a full refund. He let the ball drop and is now trying to blame it on me. I don't think so! Good thing I did not use him as my photographer! If Marty comes through with the video or gives me a refund if he doesn't, I will post another review and hope I can say something better about him and his company than this!

Marty from M&L was really great to work with. Our photographer Jenny was so great, and helpful, and understanding and patient on our wedding day, our pictures were amazing. Cody our videographer was great he captured our wedding without interrupting anything. Overall if I could use M&L again, I definetely would!

We had a wonderful experience with this company! From the initial meeting, to the engagement & wedding photos to picking up the discs. Marty and Jenny were always professional and did a beautiful job! What we got for the price was amazing. We would highly reccommend them!

The only reason I did not give M&L Photo Video 4 stars for professionalism is because we had a two different photographer for my wedding, one photographer was very professional, organized and had a much better personality while the other was the complete opposite and it definitely showed in the pictures.

A trio of thanks to Kevin, Frank and Alex of M&L Photography for capturing all of our memories in photos and video. Kevin and Frank grabbed the action with their cameras, while Alex kept the camera rolling to record our wedding dreams that we will enjoy sharing with our family and friends.
Although the photos were beautiful and plentiful, I did experience some delay in receiving them. I was promised the photos would be available 2 wks after the wedding and after MULTIPLE phone calls and emails they finally arrived just over a month later. The DVD was promised in 4 wks after the wedding and that finally arrived 8 wks later...double the time for BOTH the photos and DVD. Needless to say, that was a bit of a disappointment because you'll all excited to the them and you have nothing!!! None of the staff members on the website were at my wedding event either.

M&L PhotoVideo offers quality photography services as well as DJ, videography, hair & makeup, at a value price. We booked a package to include DJ service, photography, hair & makeup for our summer wedding at our initial meeting with Marty because we liked him so much. We ended up loving the DJ service we received. That part was incredible. However, while the quality of the photos taken is good, Marty's lack of professionalism in the face of conflict is stunning.
Our problems with the company first began when, two weeks before the wedding date, the hair & makeup person called me to cancel due to the fact that she was "starting school out of town." I then had to call around to find a place that could accommodate myself, my mother, my mother-in-law, and the bridal party with such short notice. Marty did not charge us for the hair and makeup service, but the whole issue was an inconvenience to us. Our engagement session was wonderful, and our wedding day way nice as well. Although we had only hired one photographer for the day, Marty showed up personally to provide a second angle during the ceremony. We were pleasantly surprised. In addition, the DJ asked us if he could shoot video during our wedding and reception for his own promotional purposes, and in return he would provide us with a free copy of the footage. Of course, we agreed. Who wouldn't agree to a free wedding video? We didn't realize that more "inconveniences" were around the corner. We didn't notice anything at the time, but in the days following the wedding we received several complaints from guests about the way our photographer treated them. She was extremely rude to one guest in particular who is not a professional photographer, but happened to have the same make & model camera as she was using to shoot our wedding photos. The photographer did not like this at all, and treated our invited guest (and mother of our flower girl) as though she was invading her "turf." She made some snide remarks about how our hobbyist friend was "stealing her shots" and so on. That news was annoying, but the worst was yet to come. When we received our proofs, we realized that some of our photos were missing. When we asked about it, we found out that our photographer had lost one of the memory sticks from the reception. The lost memory contained the only pictures of some major events - our grand entrance as husband and wife, our first dance as a married couple, our father/daughter and mother/son dances, some of the speeches, tossing of the bouquet and garter, and an unknown amount of candid shots of guests dancing and having fun. We were missing MANY moments - moments we had hired Marty and his company to document. Despite being very disappointed, we were very understanding about the situation. Most of our friends told us we should demand a full refund, but we didn't agree. We know that accidents happen, but we also felt that we should be compensated for our loss, since the job we hired the company for was not delivered the way we had asked. We were very satisfied with the DJ service and the quality of the photographs that we did receive, so instead of asking for a full refund we came up with a partial refund amount that we considered reasonable. However, when we approached Marty with our request he was very defiant, and initially offered only $100. He cited that only approx. 15-20 minutes of our night were missing, and that amount of time wasn't worth any more money than that. After some negotiations he raised his offer to $200, but would not budge any more. Back to that video that the DJ had taken of the wedding and reception - now our only hope for seeing some of those lost wedding moments. Well, we did receive it, and after our experience with the lost memory stick Marty even offered to edit it for us. But what a coincidence - when we watched it we realized that the exact same moments that had been lost in photos, (our entrance, dance, parent dances, tossing of bouquet and garter, etc,) had also been edited OUT of the video. The video literally showed the entire bridal party entering the reception, right up to the maid of honor and best man, and then cut off the moment before our entrance. It did not pick up again until later in the reception. In the end, we still have a bunch of events missing with no resolution on price. we also have no physical prints - only the digital proofs. We have a crappily edited video with our special moments intentional left out, and we are pursuing a small claims court case which we may or may not win. While our experience was probably not commonplace, and there were some good parts of the business, I could NEVER in good conscience recommend this business to another person. In addition, make sure you discuss all the "what if's" with your chosen photographer ahead of time, just so you can be sure that if the unexpected does happen, you will be compensated appropriately.

I also gave her an additional photographer for an extra 2 hours which she did not mention. We certainly got a deal with these guys. Even though 'marty' was who I spoke with over the phone he wasnt who came to do our photography. The first time I spoke with him he said he would be the one there...anyway the young woman who did do the photography did good. The only problem is that when we did the group photo...well...I had to crop faces from other pictures into the places where my dad and step mom faces couldnt be seen.
Also it took them a while to get the photos to me. I didnt get all the photos until May 2nd(100 4x6, 1 11x 13, and photo CD)...my wedding was March 18th.

This company has been a nightmare. I know, I chose them because they had good reviews and their prices seemed reasonable at first when compared to some of the professional's. I would however NOT call this company professional or professionals. My wedding was almost 3 years ago and I have still not received my photo's. My wedding video is horrible with most of it consisting of a purple banner through the entire ceremony because the camera man had the camera positioned wrong. The cameraman stole one of my guest's seats and the photographer was physically pushing my guests during reception. I had so many complaints from guests, that's all they remember now. This company's business name should be Train Wreck.
