Same stories as the other reviews. Michael Charles scams you out of your money and sends you nothing but the cd. With no touch ups, just raw camera shots. Each time I tracked him down (which wasn't easy), I was told some dramatic story that I didn't believe. I finally talked to him today and he tells me that he has closed down his photography business, so you can't sue him. Feel free to go after the company, but its bankcrupt so you won't get anything....How someone can actually live with themselves after stealing everyone's money and memories is beyond me....

Michael Charles was our photographer for our beach wedding on 9/18/09. I paid a very generous amount of money for an hour worth of work. Our written contract prepared by Michael clearly stated we were to receive all 100 4x6 images, 2 8x10's,2 5x7's, a photo album and a cd of images. All we got was the cd.
I called him more than once, sent him emails and also sent a certified letter to him asking him to send us what was rightfully ours per the contract. He called me and asked for a couple of months and he would send me everything per contract. It's been over a year now and I knew I would never get my 4x6 images, which for me was most important and most upsetting. PLEASE..BEWARE OF THIS GUY, HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING MEMORIES

We enjoyed Michael's jokes and we loved our wedding photos! We were very happy with our pick for a photographer!

Mr. Charles was our wedding photographer on July 18th 2009. The wedding took place on the Palm Bay Club beach and the reception was held at the Mattisons 41. The contracted price which was payed in full included a wedding album. This was also very clearly stated in the signed contract. On December 6th 2009 we emailed Mr. Charles the pictures we would like included in the album. We have emailed him and called multiple time and left voicemails. He has never responded. To top it off, he had my previous review removed simply for telling the truth. Michael, how about you simply call me and explain to me why you took our money and never honored the contract. EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO US. OUR WEDDING WAS 7/20/2009 AT THE LONGBOAT KEY HILTON IN SARASOTA, FL. TO THIS DAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING BUT A CD OF IMAGES FROM HIM. HE DOES NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. THE THREE TIMES I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONTACT HIM OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS HE TELLS THE SAME STORY HOW HE HAS FALLEN ON HARD TIMES BUT WILL HAVE EVERYTHING TO ME SHORTLY. STILL NOTHING. NO PRINTS, NO ALBUM, NO MEMORIES. HE WAS PAID UPFRONT, SIGNED A CONTRACT AND HAS DONE NOTHING TO HONOR THE CONTRACT OR PAYMENT. HE IS A TRUE SCAM ARTIST, NOT TO MENTION THE PICTURES WERE NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT. DO NOT HIRE HIM FOR ANY OF YOUR EVENTS, YOU WILL REGRET IT. NOW I HAVE TO RESORT TO TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST HIM JUST TO GET THE ALBUM AND PRINTS THAT WE PAID FOR (AND SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR)...I'LL PROBABLY PAY MORE IN ATTORNEY'S FEES THAN I WILL GET OUT OF HIM. THIS IS TRULY A NIGHTMARE.

For some reason I decided to do a search on Michael Charles today and came across all thse reviews. I wish I had seen them 3 years ago. We had our wedding and reception at Lido Beach Hotel and Michael was terrible from beginning to end. He was kind of odd dring the actual wedding and it took us over a yea and a half o get our wedding album. He came up with fake illnesses and weird stories of why he could never produce the album. He hardly ever returned emails or phone calls and we eventually had to report him to the BBB. When we did receive our album and 8x10's, etc... The pictures were very disappointing and the bigger photos were untouched and looked like sh&^! He truly is a scam artist that ruined what should have been a wonderful time in our lives. He deserves whatever bad happens in his life.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer I suggest you chose Michael Charles. He did a fantastic job on our wedding. We had a destination wedding and wanted a slide show when we got home for our reception. He was able to provide that CD in an extremely short amount of time when know one else would consider it. He is professional, talented and efficient. He helped make our day go extremely smooth. I highly recommend him.

We would certainly recommend Michael Charles for your photography. He knows his business and was able to get phenomenal photo's despite the misty rain during our outdoor ceremony! We have so many beautiful shot's to choose from...I just don't know how to pick from them! He is very easy to work with and does not waste time getting the pictures so you can get the Bride and Groom to the Reception to celebrate with their guests! He is professional in all aspects and we would highly recommend him!

I had the BEST photographer. Michael Charles did our engagement photos, wedding and reception. He is very patient, understanding and very precise. He made the whole event come together smoothly and very organized. He was very prompt on uploading my photos online and sending me a cd, I couldn't of asked for anything better. My wedding party gave many compliments on his work and his finished product. He was exceptional. Definitely call him to do your photography :) Forget everything I said, Photographer SUCKED!!!!!! He did not follow through with anything. Would not recommend him.
