I had a truly wonderful experience with my wedding caterer, Gourmet Bay Catering. Throughout the planning process, Nicole was so helpful and quick to respond to my endless rounds of questions. The expansive menu options made it easy to select a menu that was right for our event. The food itself was delicious! Our guests have been raving about the different selections we offered for weeks now. Nicole was great at anticipating our needs during the actual event, even popping in on the wedding party with trays of food and cocktails immediately after the ceremony - truly great customer service. Overall, Gourmet Bay was a great decision . You will not be disappointed!

Gourmet Bay catered my daughter’s wedding reception on March 9, 2013. The food and presentation were wonderful - we had so many compliments. The entire GB staff was professional and attentive from the day we contacted them. Nicole was friendly, responsive, and helpful. We are so glad we chose Gourmet Bay – they were a big part of making the reception a wonderful party!

GBC went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met in preparation for the event. On the day of, they were quick on their feet with any and all adjustments to ensure that everything was on time and that the food displays had a cohesive appearance with the overall wedding decor. The food was one of our most important parts of the wedding since it was the first time for some guests to taste southern cuisine. People were over the moon about how wonderful everything tasted and the different flavors.

Nicole Garrand was my 'Day Planner', but she made herself available for so much more. She made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed about the event and that all of my worries were taken off of my shoulders. She is also pretty amazing with floral bouquets and decor. I would highly recommend this catering company and Nicole Garrand as a Wedding / Day Planner. They are a jam packed team!!

Everything was wonderful at our son's wedding November 10, 2012. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of service. The food was delicious and well-presented. The staff were accomodating, professional, attractive, and attentive to our every need. They went above and beyond to make my day perfect! We had an issue with our wedding date and found out 3 days prior. Nicole (the planner) was able to rework the entire wedding and insure that all vendors were there as well as having everything decorated and food ready! They are the best!! I know things would not have played out the way they did without the help of Gourmet Bay Catering and Nicole!

What a cordial, charming group to have in your tiny kitchen. Fit right in with the mood and anticipated and made adjustments as needed. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. Different hors d'oeuvres were passed in small enough quantity to be hot; then refreshed quickly. Washed and dried my personal china and silver we used. Left the kitchen immaculate with leftovers marked and packed in fridge. Bar tender also did a grand job -- had champagne poured and ready to pass when vows were over.

Nicole was wonderful! She was professional, friendly and helpful. She also knew the business very well. She was honest with me regarding what would be good to provide the guests at the reception and then what would be a waste of my money. She also stayed on budget.

Excellent food! We continue to get comments back from the guests saying how good the food tasted.

Nicole made this an effortless affair! She provided great resources for rentals and flowers. Everyone commented on how fabulous the food was and how gracious the staff was. Very professional and great value for the money!

Erin and Patrick with Gourmet Bay Catering were fabulous to work with. Erin went completely above and beyond our expectations. She really functioned like an event planner, providing crucial coordination with all vendors involved, and helped trouble-shoot on a major issue with the party rental company regarding the room set-up. Erin met with us three times prior to the event (once for the tasting and twice at our venue) to ensure that we were comfortable with the planning. She also kept the schedule flowing well during the event.

Patrick is a most talented chef. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and its presentation. I received a lot of great feedback on the food.

Neither my mother nor I live in Charleston, so wedding planning for us was more challenging. I will forever be grateful to Erin and Patrick for going above and beyond to help in any way that they could. They are a great team and strive hard to help and please their clients. I highly recommend them!

Could not have been more happy with the outcome of my wedding. The food was amazing! Especially Patricks fried chicken and waffles. Those were a hit.
Nicole was so supportive through the whole process and made everything so easy on me. She also made the most beautiful arrangements. I new exactly what I wanted and she created them perfectly. She also arranged all my rentals. She is truly a rock star!

We were recently married in Folly Beach, SC. Gourmet Bay did an outstanding job from start to finish! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Our guests were blown away by the entire experience. Thanks to Nicole and the entire staff for making our wedding a event that people are still talking about. If you decide to serve appetizers, you MUST have the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese! Just to die for!

Going with Gourmet Bay catering was the smartest decision I made while planning my wedding!

The original reason I selected GB, was because of the amazing responsiveness their staff showed to me. They were always EXTREMELY prompt at responding to emails and calls (something unheard of with many catering companies), happy to answer my questions, give me advice and help me with anything and everything.

When I went in for my tasting my decision to go with GB was further solidified. Gourmet Bay really rolled out the carpet for us, let us try anything and everything we were interested in- changed anything we didn't like and helped us create our dream wedding menu.

After we signed on the dotted line- the staff didn't just forget about us until our big day- but they checked in with me frequently, handled EVERYTHING rental wise for us (amazing) and were available anytime I had any questions about ANYTHING.

The day of our wedding- Nicole (our Gourmet Bay contact) not only helped to make my wedding LOOK like the event of my dreams (she helped set up linens and tables - talk about going above and beyond!!) but she made sure her staff brought their A-game. The servers were wonderful! Not to mention Chef Patrick, who was amazing in the kitchen. So many people have told me our food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. Not only was it delicious- but it was displayed in a way that looked like a work of art!!! Everything food wise was perfect- EXCEPT for my wedding cake (which was NOT made by GB!!) Unbeknownst to me, my cake was slowly but surely melting and shifting during our reception- somehow the Gourmet Bay crew was able to (WITHOUT me knowing it) save the cake- by removing the bottom layer of a four layer cake and turning it into the perfect 3 layer cake of my dreams. WHAT TALENT!

I could go on and on and on... but will sum it up with this.... GO WITH GOURMET BAY- you will be glad you did.

gourmet bay was wonderful... Food was great and Nicole was amazing... I couldn't have pulled it off with out her!! She always got back to me right away with every phone call and email. They did a fabulous job, I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
