Wow – The Best Food We’ve Had At A Wedding
The best choice for your event meal! The decision to use Good Food as our daughter’s wedding meal was spot on! Kate and the staff at Good Food made us feel part of the family. Our tasting was both delicious and relaxing. The months between tasting and wedding were flawless, with several changes to the menu items that went off without a hitch. The quality of food for prices was top notch. Good Food staff were most attentive to our guests with food allergies. Out guests are still, weeks later, complimenting us on the caterer’s staff and food quality. I was so pleased with the number of servers they provided. As meals were served it was as if an army descended to serve all meals hot and timely. The staff was professional and polite. We choose passed horde avers, plated dinner, and late-night snacks, along with beverage station. If you’re looking for GREAT food and terrific service, Good Food is your vendor. I will be using Good Food again in the future.

My son and daughter in law used Good Food Catering for their wedding on Oct 1, 2022. The wedding was supposed to be on 9/30 but do to the hurricane a complete change in Venue, date, band, etc need to be changed! Kate Stanton at Good Food Catering was the absolute best! She went above and beyond in helping us. They had the most amazing Wedding at the Historic Rise Mill , the food was fantastic, servers were great and venue beautiful! We cannot thank Kate Stanton and her staff enough for what they did for our family!!!

We used GFC for our wedding and the guests are still raving about the food - from the apps to the plated meal to the late night snacks! We are so happy everyone enjoyed it all as much as we did!

Good Food Catering knocked it out of the park with both their amazing food and their professional service! Throughout the wedding planning process, I had a million questions and tons of changes to be made along the way (including postponing my original date due to covid) but their planning team handled everything seamlessly! Tristan, who was my main point of contact, always responded to me promptly and had great suggestions along the way! This made things so easy on me during the stressful wedding planning process. On the actual wedding day, their service was AMAZING. All the servers were incredibly friendly, quick, and professional. We used their bartending services (we provided our own alcohol) and servers for passed hors d'oeuvres. We opted for the chef-attended stations, which was great because it wasn't as "casual" as a buffet but not as formal as plated meals. This gave our guests flexibility to choose which meals they wanted and go up for more serving, which they did because last but not least, the food was AMAZING. My guests couldn't stop raving about our food! The Coq au Vin chicken and Beef Braised Short Ribs entrees were particular hits! Both were so tender and delicious! Their food is top-quality and prepared by local chefs, so you get Charleston restaurant-quality food! I would definitely recommend GFC for your wedding!

Cannot say enough good things about GFC! Planning staff, specifically Tristan who put everything together for us in just two weeks as well as Kate, were outstanding in their quick responses, professionalism, patience and kindness. On event day, the staff led by Ms Olympia was prompt, knowledgeable of the details, friendly and helpful. And the food was fantastic!! Mini lobster rolls, bacon wrapped scallops, oysters and filet Mignon were the most notable dishes but all was amazing.

Good Food Catering was everything we could have wanted and more! My fiancé Joe and I got married on 3-1-2020 at the Acre in Orlando Florida. I myself am a wedding photographer and I knew for certain that Good Food would be our caterer. I have had the pleasure of working with them for the past 7 years! Their food is insanely delicious and I love their one of a kind approach to menus. They truly execute your unique vision. When Joe and I were first dating we went to the Starlit Supper and Good Food had done the catering. Joe was blown away. We had a family style meal with a delicious artisanal salad, pork belly (his fav) on top of broccoli with mashed sweet potatoes, and their famous shrimp and grits. In the time before we got engaged we saw the launch of their oyster and champagne cart and indulged in their incredible nitro ice cream made right before your eyes! Joe had literally never forgotten that pork belly dish. Once the venue and date was secured Good Food was the first vendor we booked! Food and beverage was a priority for us and we knew exactly what we wanted. We asked for the same meal! Plus we had the champagne and oysters for our cocktail hour and the nitro ice cream for dessert. We were honestly SO excited to eat at our wedding! It was so good!! All of our guests gushed about how amazing everything was and how blown away they were with the oysters. They also handled our bar and made signature cocktails. They made sure to make the margaritas with my favorite Milagro Silver and fresh lime. The old fashioned were made perfectly and they even provided the fancy single large ice cubes! The details really mattered to us and we knew that they paid attention and care. If you are looking for a unique foodie experience for your wedding Good Food is your dream team. They were so lovely to work with at every stage. They listened and asked great questions. The day of was flawless and everyone was so cheerful. We cannot thank them enough!!!

We did our tasting this past Friday and the food was delicious! We had difficulty deciding because all of the entrees were cooked perfectly and in delicious sauces. We especially loved the pimento cheese and fried green tomato appetizer. So excited for our guests to experience this food! The tasting was fun, flexible and stress-free. Highly recommend for any event!

We are so happy we chose Good Food Catering for our wedding! Jenna was very helpful throughout the process, including listening to our feedback when choosing the dishes, to accommodating our needs when we had last minute adjustments to our head count. The food for both the cocktail hour and reception were delicious, and we received compliments from all of our guests. For the cocktail hour, we chose pulled pork on a johnny cake, lobster rolls, goat cheese stuffed date wrapped with bacon, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp on a chip. For the reception, we chose pecan crusted chicken with succotash, shrimp and grits, and beef tenderloin with asparagus and potatoes. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend choosing Good Food Catering for your wedding!

This caterer is required if you book an event at the Historic Rice Mill. I must admit I wasn’t too excited to hear that I didn’t have flexibility in choosing a caterer, but I must say that the food at our wedding was exceptional. The hors deurves were soooo good. Fried green tomatoes were my favorite! And I really enjoyed the entrees and dessert as well!
