Len lit our wedding in Galena last weekend. The room looked absolutely gorgeous and the price was so reasonable. Len is incredibly personable and very flexible. His lighting gave the room the ambiance we were looking for. So many people commented on what a difference it made. So worth it!

The lighting was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Our venue was an already beautiful white atrium, but the uplights made it truly magical! Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful our venue was. The lights created an intimate ambiance and completely set the mood for the night. Len was always responsive and very professional. We would definitely hire him again in a heart beat!

Me and Len had a great relationship before our wedding. He worked really hard with me to find the perfect monogram. The day of my wedding, the monogram was perfect, but it was upside down (facing the head table and not the guests). This is something that I thought would be common sense. Also it was supposed to shine pink, it was white. I still have the emails confirming that it could be pink. No one noticed the flaws but me, and I was very upset about it. I worked really hard to pay for my wedding and this was a last little detail that I was able to squeeze out of my budget and I expected it to be right. I have emailed them with my concerns and have yet to receive a response.

We definitely recommend Chicago Lighting Design. We looked at some bigger companies, but you get more personalized service from Chicago Lighting because of the owner, Len. He came to meet with us multiple times to plan out details. He was also at our event the whole time, changing the colors of the lighting throughout the night. Our guests loved the custom logo projected on the wall, they took lots of pictures in front of it. We had him do additional draping as well, but his real specialty is in lighting. We had pinspots on the tables, uplights along the walls, and a moving truss for the dance floor and gobo projections. Payment was very smooth, he's one of the few vendors that takes PayPal as well as other forms of payment so it's easy to manage. Overall, we were very happy with Len's work.

Len did a great job at our wedding. The lighting was perfect and made the entire room more intimate. The lounge area drapes were also great and I've received several compliments on having the private lounge. Pricing was also very reasonable compared to other places we "shopped" around to.

I was very pleased with the service provided by the Chicago Lighting Design Company. They created lighting that was identical to our monogram on our programs, menus, etc. They really brought together my vision for my wedding reception. We got so many compliments. To be honest, so many people told me not to invest in lighting because no one would notice it, but several of my guests complimented us and we have great photos to look back on.

After being an event planner for more than 20 years, The Chicago Lighting Design Company provided exceptional customer service as well as an excellent product.
My client cried when she saw their monograms displayed on the fabric near the ceiling for every guest to see. The placement of the monogram was spectacular and showcased the elegance of the event.
