We used Allegra because we saw her website and her work speaks for itself. All her photography is great and she is fun to work with, especially for engagement photos! If you get married in the capital, do a monument tour with her and you will see that she will make your wedding photography that much more memorable. She is a good drive down 29 but is so worth it for the shots we got!

I cannot say enough good things about Allegra!!! I am Italian and I got married at the Clifton Inn. I had to organize the whole wedding from Italy and it was quite difficult to pick all the vendors just from emails. I emailed 30 photographer and I immediately knew she was the right one when she responded the next day with so many helpful details and examples of her work!
She was on time and super efficient, with a detailed list of all the shots she had to take and she was open to new ones too! But the most amazing thing about her is her nature: she was smiling, kind and helpful the whole time, talking and reassuring my family and me, being nice to the guest and making sure to take great shots! We had a preview of her work the same night at the Clifton and all the guests were blown away! They all work in the entertainment industry and we can surely see a good pic! They were amazing even without any photoshop!
I am shy and sensitive and she was able to take picture of me without embarrassing me, it was perfect.
They are the best money I ever spent, seriously! she is great!

I LOVED my pictures from Allegra! Not only did she create amazing work, she was such a huge help on the day of! We didn't have a coordinator (THAT was a mistake!) and without being pushy or bossy, Allegra helped the day run smoothly all the while getting photo-journalistic images that we will treasure FOREVER!

Allegra was wonderful to work with - her genuinely warm, easygoing personality puts you at ease, allowing her to capture real emotion in her photos. That, combined with her incredible artistic eye, results in photographs that are truly stunning. Three years later, friends and family still remember our wedding photos and make comments about how gorgeous they were. Yes, her services are pricy, but when it comes to photography you get what you pay for; we wanted amazing photos of our wedding day, and she was well worth it.

Allegra is wonderful. She has a wonderful eye for what is happening around her and a fine tuned ability to capture it on camera. We loved our pictures. One thing that I recommend, (with any photgrapher) is to let them know which pictures are very important to you. I really wanted more pictures of my family...it seemed that because my husband's family was more active, they got waaaaaaayyyyyy more camera time. I have very few good pictures of my parents at my wedding. Also, my now hospitalized grandmother appears in only a few photos. Allegra still did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an upscale photography experience.

Allegra is a fantastic person and is a VERY talented photographer. She's a bit on the pricey side, but IMHO is WELL worth it. Because she's so talented, though, she's in very high demand and so isn't able to be as flexible with her schedule as other photographers may be able to be. She does a great job at staying in contact and responding to questions, given her very busy schedule.
