Aimeezing Faces is usually REALLY busy (book early)... but they do wonderful work.

Overall, I was pleased with the hair and makeup Aimee provided for my wedding day. While there managed to be a good bit of unexpected cost and she and her team were an hour late on my wedding day, I was very pleased with the services provided and felt beautiful. I’m not convinced she’s the best available, but I’m not sorry I hired her, either

Aimee performed a make-up application for me on my daughters wedding day. She was one of the nicest and professional vendors we had to deal with. She made sure I was comfortable with each step in the application and even made changes to her usual steps to give me what I wanted. She made me look and feel beautiful...and my husband was very impresed. Thanks Aimee.

We are very happy that we selected Aimeezing Faces as our wedding photographer. We are extremely pleased with how our photos have turned out and so enjoyed working with Ron and Aimee Carr. They were seasoned and fun, and we will likely use them in the future for other things. We originally selected them after seeing the work on their website. We live in Houston but were marrying in Baton Rouge, and we wanted pictures in both locales. Ron and Aimee operate in both cities and were able to accommodate us.

We married just a month ago and we already have our proofs! Ron mailed us about 4000-5000 proof photos from Kim's bridals and the wedding/ reception (We do not think other photographers offer that). Aimee did Kim's makeup for her bridal shoot and actually took the time to retouch her hair from an earlier stylist, Aimee really knows how to make you look stunning in pictures (Take a look at the before and after make-up on her website). I also know that she uses excellent products because I have very (I mean very!) sensitive skin and the products she applied did not bother me at all, even after hours of having them on my face. Aimee and Ron Carr really treated us very well. Even our parents and guests raved about how hard Ron worked and how great his picture taking was.

I would definitely recommend using Aimeezing Faces as your wedding photographer. Tell them what you want for your wedding you will be amazed at what they can suggest and produce for you. I had so much fun with Ron taking my bridal photos. I was so nervous, but he got the job done. Not to mention how well my pictures turned out. I loved working with this team. They did everything possible to make me happy!

While the work my individual hair and make-up artist did was good, the hassle of settling the bill and communicating with Aimee, the owner, was not worth the money I paid. If I had it over to do again, I would simply do my own make-up rather than deal with the low level of professionalism that this company has.

After quoting a price for the services I wanted for my wedding, I agreed to pay half of the total for a deposit, and the final half the week of the wedding date. I was then charged $100 over what we had agreed was half the total. When I contacted Aimee about this, she said she needed to check with the accountant to see what we had been charged for. After many emails back and forth the situation still was not resolved. I finally sent her the list of the charges we had agreed upon for each service, and received no response for almost a month. Two weeks before my wedding, I still had no more contact with Aimee. I called her repeatedly and emailed her (to multiple email addresses), but her voice mailbox was full and she did not respond to emails. She finally contacted me five days before my wedding, apologizing because she had gone out of the country for over a week. After discussing the payment, she reassured me that the price would not be as much as $200 more than the original quote. I informed her that I had not budgeted for something that expensive, and could only pay about $20-30 over the original quote. When she then sent me an invoice (my first mistake-not getting an invoice before I paid my first deposit), it was $90 over the original quote. I informed her that I was unhappy, but as it was TWO DAYS before my wedding, (and she already had $400 from me) I had no other choice but to see her Saturday.

My friend Sarah had used her for her wedding, but neglected to tell me until after my wedding, that she had the same problems.
I will NEVER use Aimee-zing Faces again, and I DO NOT recommend her to anyone.

The photographer took over 4500 pictures at our wedding!! He is so outgoing, he is able to get some amazing shots. Looking at our pictures now, we were amazed we didn't even notice him taking them. Our guests loved him as well! Aimee and her staff did a wonderful job on my hair and make-up services for all my photo sessions. My bridesmaids were amazed their hair acutally stayed in their up-do.

Be very careful in doing business with Aimee zing Faces! I had an unpleasant and costly experience with them and do not recommend them. I wanted special, professional make up for a very special event. They have a great website and I was from out of town. So, I contacted them and requested a quote. I had to call and e-mail several times. Then I was e-mailed a list of prices but no quote, and I was told everything was at a discount so none of the prices on the sheet I was provided were accurate. I never received a quote in advance. They offered a free make up consultation to demonstrate their work. At the consultation, the artist could not locate brown eyeliner and had to call the owner. She remove part of the eyeliner two times and my eyes started to hurt by the third application. Then, she could not find a mascara brush so she tried to apply the mascara with a different brush. It came out looking so clumpy that she only did one eye. After the consultation I was told that I must "tip" the artist. I am just lucky that all of this happened before my special event. It would have ruined my day.

I requested two stylists, and wound up getting three (paid for all three, too) - but only one came to do hair and make-up and the other two were only there for hair. All three stylists wound up late, and only one called to ask for the directions. The other day - we had to call them to find out where they were. The wedding got off to a late start because all of the hair was done, and three girls still needed to get their makeup done. One of the stylists stepped up to the plate and was willing to work, but the third refused to do anything but stand around. I still don't know why I paid the same about for #2 and #3 when #3 barely did anything. My stylist - Denae - was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If you go with Aimee-zing Faces, I totally recommend that you use her. She was personable, casual, professional, and so good. I felt like a million dollars on my wedding day. It's the one day that I actually look good in EVERY SINGLE PICTURE - and all because of her work with my hair and make-up. My only regret is that because of the delay, the wedding was so rushed that we didn't the traditional pictures AND I didn't get the opportunity to tip her.

They seemed real cool at first but it seemed as if they weren't really interested when you became their customer. And the turn around time for customer service was terrible. Emails and phone calls were rarely returned. Miscommunication was a major issue. I think they book more than they can handle because their excuse was always we were busy... that is unacceptable to hear from a vendor. A simple reply to an email would have taken less than 5 minutes telling us that they will get back to us soon.

it is now Nov 2, 2009 (2 yrs after my wedding)
I still have not received my wedding album. I received their 2nd set of proofs via email. But the 1st proof was sent mid Feb of 2009. They have given me at least 20 excuses on why they were not able to deliver. And yet today I get another excuse. I am so upset right now that I can't even think clearly on what to say. Other than, DO NOT BOOK THEM. Don't let their charm fool you. They will charm you until they get the contract signed. After that, they treat you like a disease. I have a lawyer that's dealing with them now. When my husband and I were dealing with them ourselves they emailed back nasty responses when we were only asking for updates on our book and I would only email every 4 months. They responded back saying that we were harassing them. Excuse me, we were not harassing anyone. We were very concerned about our book. And they treat us like a criminal like we didn't pay them or something. We paid IN FULL before the event. We needed the book because our husband took our 1 yr anniversary trip to our home country and its not easy to fly back as it is VERY expensive. We wanted to share our beautiful day with them since they were not able to go to our wedding. Well we went there empty handed. And still 2 yrs after our wedding we still do not have a book. The funny thing is I convinced my husband to use them because he had a 'feeling' about them. And let me tell you this, he doesn't let me forget what a mistake it was for me to book them.

DO NOT BOOK THEM!

The stress I had to endure is not worth it.

We hired Ron Carr (from Aimee-zing Faces) to do our wedding and engagement pictures. He was very pleasant and energetic, which we loved. You could see the passion he has for his work. His pricing was also very reasonable, and we got a good special.

However, we had a few issues with him and were ignored when requesting resolution. For instance, we paid extra for our engagement photo negatives. After several months, we never received them. After calling them a few times and leaving messages, they stopped calling us back and started to ignore our number when we called.

In addition, the lighting in some of the photos was not very good. We have a number of "dark" photos which we had to retouch via photo-editing software.

Finally, Ron missed a number of important pictures during our wedding. We asked that he take pictures of the guests at all tables, and he chose not to. He did take hundreds of pictures, however. But some included random nature shots that we would have chosen to forego for more important family shots.

Overall, we are dissatisfied with the picture quality, picture shots chosen, and customer service provided by Ron and his company. Please be careful when working with him and his wife, Aimee, in the future.

Love the quality of Ron Carr's work. His talent is AMAZING! The pictures that he has taken of my children in the past has brought tears to my eyes. Don't know how he manages to capture such wonderful images, but he never ceases to amaze me. Would highly reccommend him for any type of photo shoot.
