Citrine Pictures is a wedding photography studio based out of New England and New Orleans
Hi, I’m Hannah. I’m a lover of art, stories, and spark—the perfect alchemy to creating and capturing all those memory-making, magical moments. Weddings, to me, are more than those stuffy posed pictures, forced smiles that make your face hurt; rather, they are about your unique narrative, your origin stories and your threads of connection; the ways in which you’ve woven a love through a tapestry of compassion and inspiration and all that makes you you— both as individuals and as a couple. That’s the fabric of the photo, the material I like to work with; because of this, my photos lean atmospheric and candid. You see, it is nothing less than joy-making to be a purveyor and seeker of spark and sparkle, to capture the overtly special—the first dance, the cutting of the cake—to the more subdued glimmers in the corners. I will follow your wedding’s arc, from the rising crescendo and first glances down the aisle to the last whispers of a piano; that single shimmering grain of rice in your best friend’s hair; the final flare of a sparkler, lighting your way (yep, we’re going there) to your happily ever after. I’d be outright honored to offer my eye and heart in service to the enchantment that surrounds the joining of your families in celebration and love!
Experience
A wedding photographer based out of both New England and New Orleans, Hannah Patterson weaves cinema and photography together as she tells the couple’s love story through images. Her wedding photography experience began in 2009 and she has since earned her MFA from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2014. Her background in the fine arts serves to inform her work as a photographer.

Wonderful & Effortless
Hannah was incredible, my husband, our guests, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She blended seamlessly with the crowd throughout our entire wedding weekend and the pictures are stunning! We had some pretty major last-minute schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances, Hannah was so gracious and able to accommodate us despite the last-minute chaos. Her work is beautiful & she was an absolute delight to work with. Cannot recommend Hannah & Citrine Pictures enough!

Hannah and Ethan are a dream!
Hannah and Ethan were a dream to work with. We chose them based on their beautiful portfolio, had the pleasure to get to know Hannah before the wedding and were blown away by the final product we've received. They perfectly captured not only the emotion on our wedding day, but the natural beauty of the surroundings. We wanted a natural, more documentary type feel infused with artful moments and we got back so much more. Hannah and Ethan were subtle but omni-present and they captured everything we were feeling and all the things we had no time to see. They are wonderful!!
