I haven;t seen the photos yet but the engagement pics were amazing and I'm confident I'll love the wedding photos too. Reid is a great photographer and very unique in his photographs, seeing potential shots you wouldn't think of. He got to know us well so we were comfortable around him and is an easy-going guy.

My husband and I were married three days ago 4.17.11. and we are at a loss for words. I cannot describe how pleased we are with how Reid handled us and our family. Reid Stains and 12-1 Photography could not have done a better job at our wedding. Reid is really great to work with and is just a great person in general and so made us feel very at ease in front of the camera. The resulting pictures were exactly what we were hoping for and we have received many compliments from friends and family.
We wanted to work with Reid becaiuse we wanted wedding pictures that looked like they were taken in 2010, not 1985. He is able to capture those standard wedding shots but he really has an eye for making our wedding shots look modern and cool while still capturing the important monents. He really worked well with our family and friends and made them feel at ease in front of the camera. He also has quite the guerrilla technique for capturing shots and people not even knowing it. This was especially helpful at the reception. Reid also has great ideas for post-production and wwas able to give us some really unique images. Our entire wedding album is absolutely stunning and we have 12-1 to thank for that. Hands down our favorite vendor!

Mother of the Bride here. Since I hired 12-1, I am the one posting. Reid Stains is A++++++ I suggested him to my daughter because of his artistic eye. Reid sincerely looks at each wedding from a different perspective. As an officiate of weddings, I've noticed that some photographers do the same old boring stuff. When I saw Reid's portfolio, it was obvious he is a different breed. My daughter called me at work today ecstatic as the photos were up on his site. I have to say that Reid delivered beyond and above our expectations. I would recommend him to anyone for any type of photography.

Reid is a very talented photographer! All of my bridesmaids could not get over how awsome he was! I have not even gotten my pictures back from the wedding but I know they are going to be great!!!! I cannot say enough nice things about Reid Stains/12-1 Photography. From our first conversation over the phone to the final photos, Reid was awesome! His upbeat personality is uplifting and contagious. He is respectful of the brides wishes and in tune with her expectations. His photos are a work of art. Reid is so creative, and into the details. Some of our favorite photos are of the simpliest things, such as the flower petals falling out of the flower girls hand, the creative way he captured the wedding dress, and many candid moments. Our photo album reads more like a love story with pictures, rather than a photo album filled with staged poses. Like I said - I say enough words of praise for Reid, as a person and as a professional. I would recommend him in a heart beat, and intend to use him again next year for my youngest daughter's wedding. Commission Reid for your event, you will not be dispointed.

Reid went above and beyond anything we could've ever asked for - from hours and hours spent on our engagement photos in a ton of different settings, to bringing a second photographer the day-of, to showing up on time and staying until we left the venue. All of that aside, I would recommend Reid and 12-1 Photography based on the quality of his photographs alone. To say they blew us away would be an understatement - they were beyond our expectations. They captured EVERYTHING from the day: formal portraits, detail shots of everything from the table settings to the rings, action shots of my husband and I throughout all of the moments of the day and candid shots of each and every family member in attendance. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 12-1 Photography to anyone and we cannot wait to find an excuse to use them again ourselves!

We had the best time with Reid at our wedding! Everyone was so impressed with our photos! Reid has the best personality and fit in great with my family and friends! Reid was very prompt in returning emails or phone calls and prompt in arriving on our wedding day, so much so that he went to where our reception was and took amazing photos during the day! You can tell that Reid truely loves what he does and it comes out in his work. I can't say enough about his creativeness! Absolutely beautiful pictures! Everyone wants to capture the perfect moments so that you may remember and cherish them forever, Reid did just that! Love him and would recommend him to anyone and have!!! :)
