Wedding Photography in Hayward

I must admit I was a bit nervous about finding a photographer online for my wedding. However, once I had my first conversation with Dan and saw the photographs on his website I felt confident that we'd get some beautiful photos. Dan was great to work with and very nice! He was responsive up to our wedding, answering questions and touching base to discuss what we wanted on the big day. On our wedding day Dan showed up right when he said he would and started shooting away! We liked that Dan wasn't overbearing or bossy like some other wedding photographers I've seen. He knew which shots we wanted and got them. He blended into the background and at times we didn't even realize he was there taking all those great photos! Dan was a pleasure to work with. You can tell he has a passion for photography. He provided great service and we got our pictures back within a week of the wedding. I would definitely recommend Dan! Thank you again for the stunning photos :)

Chris is amazing and very dedicated to his profession. We went through a few photographers until we found someone who truly matched our style. His techniques are so modern and artistic. It was really hard to find a photographer willing to travel multiple locations, dedicate extra time, and excel at night shots. Day after shots are a new concept to me and I am so glad I was able to put my dress and makeup back on to do those. We would never have achieved those shots on our wedding day. I would definitely recommend Chris and his team!

It's no secret to our family and close friends that my husband is not comfortable getting his picture taken. He was nervous and slightly apprehensive about our engagement shoot, because a photo shoot lasting more than 20 minutes sounded like torture to him. Much to our surprise, our engagement shoot with Oliver of Verstyle Photography was...get this...super fun! This is a testament to Oliver's personality and character. He's not the typical photographer. Yes, he directs you (because he know what looks good); and yes, he is artistic. But his best qualities by far are his warmth and sense of humor. He made us laugh throughout the shoot, and he is just so easy going. He is genuinely a nice guy! At first, I didn't think these qualities were that important in a photographer. However, I quickly realized throughout the wedding planning process that working with someone who had your best interest in mind, while at the same time cared about the quality of his work, made all the difference in the world! Oliver not only produces exceptional photographs, he listens, gets along really well with others, and he goes out of his way to make sure the couple is comfortable. Oliver's work speaks for itself. We hate the super "posey" photos that most wedding photographers take, and we knew this isn't what we wanted for our wedding. We looked at a bunch of different photographers, and Oliver's style fit our personality the most. His photographs looks and feels "real". He knows how to show off the couple's personality without it feeling contrived. He relies on natural light, which gives the photographs a soft, romantic look. We already had very high expectations, but Oliver far exceeded it. We highly recommend Verstyle Photography.

I can't say enough about Keith. Professional from beginning to end and the quality of our wedding photos were out of this world. My husband and I truly respect Keith's work and have gone on to use him for our baby photo shoot. He'll also take our babies first professional photos as well! His work is second to none and he is extremely flexible. Every dime we paid was WELL worth it.

Julia is an amazing photographer, and we cannot recommend her enough! We booked her early into our wedding planning journey after I discovered her on Instagram and she had the light and airy style I was looking for. Julia is always on top of everything and very professional. She answered any emails or questions I had in a timely manner, and she was very helpful with planning our timeline. We did our engagement photos with her in San Francisco about a year before our wedding. She immediately made us feel comfortable and was good at explaining poses for good photos. She also helped me with planning my shot list and narrowing down important photos. On the day of the wedding she was amazing, and her husband/second photographer Greg was lovely. It ended up being a hot day and Greg was always there with more water for us or anything we needed. We also booked our videographer through Julia, Shana Garrett, and she was also so lovely! Everyone was professional and managed to get beautiful shots of our day. Julia was also great at wrangling our families for photos, getting all the family photos I wanted, as well as detail shots. My absolute favorite photos are our sunset photos, they are so beautiful and we can’t stop looking at them! After the wedding, we got first looks that night and our full album within 3 weeks. We received our videos within a few months and she also sent a USB with everything! Overall, we cannot recommend Julia and her team enough, and we plan to work with her again in the future!

I could not have been happier with my photography services for my engagement and wedding. The videography was also well worth the additional cost as well! Everything turned out beautifully and exactly as I had envisioned. We had to rush our wedding so that my mom, who had cancer, would be well enough to attend and Denise was kind enough to even throw in a complimentary mother/daughter photo shoot of just my mom and I. These photos are now invaluable to me and I will never be able to repay her for the memories. Thank you to Denise and the entire team!
