How would you identify your photographic style?
A mixture of photojournalistic and traditional, but I'm more biased towards the photojournalistic side.

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I almost always put a light sepia tone to my black & white shots.
I typically enhance a few shots with some effects like spot coloring, selective blurring, vignettes, etc...

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Every kind from candlelight to an artificial moon (I'm not kidding, it was a big helium filled balloon with lights in it)

Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital

How many photographers do you work with?
By myself or with a second photographer, depending on what the wedding couple wants.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
YES

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend?
I have never booked myself on more than one wedding a day. I have shot two weddings in one weekend before.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
I have colleagues that I can call, but I can't guarantee their availability.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Multi cameras, lens, flashes, tripods, lightstands, etc.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes

Do you charge hourly or full day?
Hourly with a minimum of 3 hours

If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
$300/hr

Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
For weddings more than 5 hours, a meal must be provided

How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
Except for the half hour or so I take for meals, I don't take any set number of breaks.

Do you charge for travel?
Only for locations further than 1.5 hours away (time spent in traffic is not counted of course)

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I do not provide preliminary proofs because I don't like to show unfinished work. The fully adjusted and finished set of images is delivered in 2 to 3 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The finished images are delivered on CD-ROM. Proof books are included for bookings of 7 or more hours, and are available for purchase for shorter bookings.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?

When will I get the final book?
About month after you provide me with the set of images you want in the album.

How long does it take to deliver a book?
I send the books USPS priority mail, so about 3-5 days after I get it back from the book binder.
