A good relationship between photographer and videographer is essential for 2 reasons: #1 Keeping the "flow" of your wedding ontrack. #2 Maintaining the artistic integrity of both mediums. Leslie and I have similar vision...and that's good news for you. Professionalism and talent in one package. Don't let "Uncle Buck with a camcorder" tape your wedding. BIG mistake. Hire Leslie! Gary W. Sweetman Photography and Digital Imaging Inc.
We worked with Leslie of Visions Unlimited and highly recommend her as an excellent videographer. Her enthusiasm is matched perfectly with her professionalism. As a photographer, it is important to have a good relationship with a videographer because we work together so closely capturing the same moments. We received a copy of the video she had done for a wedding in which we were both vendors. Although we know how good Leslie is, from the prospective of our photography and her videography, it is amazing to see how well this blended together. She captured every moment perfectly and finalized the video with a spectacular ending. Any photographer would be pleased to work along side of her, and any couple who hires her....hires an excellent videographer!

Frequently Asked Questions for Videography

8mm Movie Film, Ceremony, DVD of Raw Footage, Edited Video, HDTV Disc, Invitation DVD, Montage - Childhood / Dating, Montage - Music Dubbed Over, Montage - Wedding Highlights, Multiple Videographers, Multple Cameras, Online Highlight Films, Pre-Ceremony, Reception, Rehearsal Dinner

What formats can the final video be in?
Blu-Ray, DVD, VHS

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes

What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
Anything and Everything Video ~ It's all about making the client happy.

Describe any special editing services you offer:
Editing truly sets your video apart. It's a time consuming and tedious art that is similar to "polishing." I work with the raw footage until it SHINES!

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Even in the most luxurious reception halls, I expect the Banquet Manager to turn off the lovely chandeliers. When this happens, it's very important to be ready with professional video lighting. Lights need to be strong yet soft. Light is needed to avoid a "muddy" look to your video. Lighting is key to making colors POP!

How many videographers do you work with?
It takes many years of professional experience to shoot a wedding alone. I do not recommend it for beginners. Still, always...if a bride can budget for a multi-camera shoot she will get a more sophisticated video. I work with several freelance videographers.

Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Since your videographer will be near on the most important day of your life, you might want to make sure you are comfortable with them. I highly recommend a professional female videographer for your "getting ready" shots. If you can, meet with her. At least, chat over the phone.

Tips and Advice
Dear beautiful brides,
Please make sure you can dance, throw a bouquet, walk, hug, and be comfortable in your wedding dress.  Before making your final decision on your dress, wear it around the shop and see if you can move comfortably. Shoes too!  ~ if you have an outdoor wedding, spike heels probably are not your best choice.  You'll need to walk on grass or sand with ease.  You wedding day will most likely be a long one.  You want to be comfortable and look good too.  It's not flattering to be pulling your dress up or "adjusting yourself."   Believe me; you'll be happier and your video will look better if you are not fussing with your clothes.  You will have more important things to think about on your wedding day.  Some of the best advise I can give you is to "test drive" your dress, veil and shoes.  This will insure that you are comfortable and that you are focusing on ENJOYING your special day!
