How do you
identify your primary photographic style?
Natural and intimate. I'm very laid back and enjoy letting the events unfold before me and following anything visually or emotionally interesting. When we do posed or setup shots, I'm usually looking for something very natural and consistent with your personality. |
Which lighting
situations do you have experience with?
I've pretty much seen it all by now. Outside at night can be one of the toughest scenarios to deal with, but I strive to get beautiful pictures wherever we end up. |
Do you have a
media preference?
I shoot digital only. |
How many
photographers do you work with?
I shoot myself and with a second photographer depending on the size of the event or venue. |
Do you
guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. |
Do you
sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
More than one in a day, no, I'd be wiped out. In a weekend, maybe. |
Do you have a
replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on
the wedding day?
Yes. |
What kind of
equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring as much as I think I'll need with backups for all major pieces of equipment. |
Do you bring
back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Absolutely. |
Do you charge
hourly or full day?
Both, either. |
If hourly, are
you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you
charge for overtime?
Overtime hourly rate is the same as the booked hourly rate. |
Do you require
a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party
provide your meal?
I would certainly like to eat, but it is not required. |
How many breaks
do you usually take throughout the day?
Few to none, except for meals. |
Do you charge
for travel?
Travel charges depend on destination and package selection. There are no additional travel charges for weddings in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county. |
How soon after
the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I like to put up an "edit" within one or two days. This is a small selection of images that I've chosen while making the first pass through the day's take. The rest of the proofs will be ready within 30-45 days of the wedding. I do my own post-processing and consider that to be part of my visual style. |
In what format
are the initial proofs offered?
Online gallery, Proof CD and printed hardcover proof book. [See Example Proof Book] |
How long can
the couple keep the proofs?
Forever. |
Do you retain
the copyright for the photos?
Yes. A license for unlimited personal use is included when images are purchased on disc ("digital negatives").
|
Do you reserve
the right to publish the photos?
Yes. Any commercial use is subject to approval by the client. |
Do you provide
the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the
negatives) to the couple?
Yes. A Print CD is included with any album order, or by itself at an additional charge. |
Will images be
available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes. |
What kind of
albums do you offer?
We custom design each album in a collage-style, printed in a high-quality leather-bound book. [See Sample Albums] |
How long does
it take to deliver a book?
Two weeks after you approve the album proof. |
