About 4 years ago, I met my husband. When we first started dating he made me realize that you need to embrace life, try new things, and do what makes you happy. I have learned so much about myself. For instance, I can now snowboard, however it is pretty much a guarantee that I will fall several times on the slopes! I’ve also learned the pure love and joy that comes from helping others, even the smallest of creatures. It all started after my husband and I got our first dog together. We loved our Boston Terrier so much that we began volunteering for the rescue group that helped us find our little four legged friend. That simple commitment has taken us down an amazing path of fostering dogs and helping them find loving forever homes.

With so many adorable animals running around my house, I couldn’t help but fall in love with taking photographs of them. And what had started out as pet photography evolved into so much more.

I’ve always been the kind of girl who couldn’t figure out what she wanted to be when she grew up. It wasn’t until we started to plan our wedding and we purchased our first DSLR camera that I found out what truly makes me happy. There is nothing better than clicking that shutter button and freezing time, capturing memories, and remembering the moments that bring you the most joy.
