What type of decor (if any) do you offer?
We offer Modern / Organic / Zen type looks. Simple, streamlined, with a focus on the flowers, foliage, and elements of glass, water, fire, metal, wood.
A Special Day Designs, Sacramento and Lake Tahoe Wedding Flowers florist also offers DIY bulk wedding flowers. We are unique because we offer a menu service - you actually see the bouquets and arrangements that we offer, pick one, and customize with your colors. Easy and affordable!
Do you provide non-floral additions to floral arrangements?
Bouquet bling (crystals on flower petals, gem stickpins, special wraps for handtieds, brooches, photo jewelry), lighting in table arrangements or ceremony arrangements, peacock feathers, ostrich feathers, vegetive materials (succulents, artichokes, thistles, pods, etc).
Do you offer full-services, such as wedding day setup, for an additional fee?
Most brides request wedding day set up (it's very difficult to be in the wedding party AND set up flowers and decor!). An additional fee is charged based on travel distance and need for assistants in set-up.
Di you have not worked at the ceremony or reception sites previously, would you be willing to visit the sites before the event?
Yes, once a bride has chosen me as her florist and provided a $200 retainer to save the date, I would be more than happy to visit the site(s).
Do you offer flower preservation services?
No.
