Describe your DJ style:
My DJ style is flexible yet professional. I can fit into a group of twenty somethings and still please the 55+ crowd with tasteful music programmed for everyone.
What is your usual attire?
Business Attire, Tuxedo or Themed Attire- Nothing flashy or tacky like fancy cumberbunds, a tophat or anything that blinks.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Yes, I am a member of several music subscription services for DJ's. I also, maintain a music location service. If I cannot obtain the song you desire, I will be happy to play the song off of your cds or jump drive.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Generally, events are between four and six hours. I do have a 3 hour minimum.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes,I will most certainly meet you in person. In this digital age, I seem to get a great deal of business accomplished online and it makes our meetings more efficient!
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, I provide everything that is needed to entertain. I bring my own table and linens and can provide my own power in remote locations.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
I use whatever it takes to make the event as unique and special as the indiviuals who are planning the event. My prices are all inclusive- I do not sell add ons. I use all of the tools available to me to make your day perfect. I have lights, fog, bubbles and other items to enhance your day.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I like to arrive two hours prior to the event and I provide my own table and linens.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Ideally a 8x10 area, but this is flexible.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I do emcee the reception if requested. I do not talk unnecessarily.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No meal is required. I do request non-alcoholic beverages to be accessible.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I maintain contacts with other professional DJ's in the area for back-up purposes. I am a member of the America Disc Jockey Association who provides an Emergency Dics Jockey Hotline in the case of emergencies.
What is your overtime rate?
Overtime rates are the same as regular rates and based hourly.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No extra charges for travel.
