I came across Sharyn through Instagram and the Knot reviews and I'm so happy we linked up. What drew me to her was her concept: beautiful, natural, artistic, elegant yet fun and candid. Her photos had amazing detail and I knew I had to work with her. Our phone call was a breeze and the initial meeting was efficient yet relaxing. We first met during our engagement shoot. She is so easy to talk to and very organized. We never felt anxious and she made us feel comfortable and calm. She has an artistic eye so if you follow her lead and vision, you will be pleased. Her turnaround time is also super quick and we got to enjoy our photos within a week, UNREAL.
The day of the wedding was also fantastic. She got stuck in traffic but even with that, we were ahead of schedule and I got to enjoy my entire cocktail hour. Rachel, her second shooter, was also reliable and a big help whenever I needed anything (like bugs in my dress, ahh) and Sharyn even fixed my ribbon on my shoe, what an angel. We had so much fun with them and they were easygoing with our chaotic family. Our family and bridal party also enjoyed the experience. I'm sad we are done taking wedding photos, so I highly recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful photos!!

Sharyn is the BEST wedding photographer. We truly can not say enough great things about her and her team! First off-- her photos are GORGEOUS. The colors are vibrant and the happiness and emotion of the day really shines through. Every single one pops. She captured both candid moments and beautiful natural-looking portraits and every detail of the day that we wanted memorialized. Every photo looks REAL but I've also never felt more beautiful than in the moments she saw and the way she captured them. Her results speak for themselves but she was also a joy to work with along the way. She made the planning process easy and fun and took time to get to know us and our style/requests. She was encouraging of our quirkier and more unusual ideas and requests which we really appreciated! She offered helpful suggestions but was game for whatever we wanted. Then on the day of it started raining right when the ceremony was supposed to start. We had to change our plans when guests were already there. Flowers were set up. Positioning decided. And she went with the flow no problem, helped everyone stay calm and still got beautiful photos even in our quickly assembled indoor setup. The biggest test is how good you are when you have to throw the plans away and just react in the moment and she nailed it. Her eye is incredible! I have a few family members who were very nervous about the portraits and hate having their photos taken and they commented after that they actually had fun and loved Sharyn! Organized, thorough, a joy to be around. Knows when to step in and guide/move things forward and when to step back and let it be your moment and let the day play out organically. You spend a lot of time with the photographer on the wedding day so having someone as wonderful to be around as she is is sooo important! Besides artistic vision (which she has!!) excellent judgement is the best thing you could hope for because it's guaranteed something unexpected will happen. And she has it!! I wouldn't have more confidence in anyone else to be there to deal with whatever happens and guide you through the joyful stress that is a wedding day. Anyone would be lucky to have her!!

Sharyn's photos perfectly capture moments of laughter and joy. She finds the most beautiful natural settings & framings for her photos. We ended up having to go with a different vendor for our wedding, but she was so kind, responsive, and easy to work with, always answering our questions promptly and expertly. We hosted a micro-wedding in our backyard for our immediate families. We hired Sharyn based on a recommendation from our event planner and after seeing her portfolio, she is definitely talented! In the current state of the world, we didn't actually meet Sharyn until the day of our wedding but when she walked in, I immediately felt comfortable and knew my memories were in good hands!
