About

Thank you  for stopping by my site.  I specialize in photojournalism-style  photography which I describe as telling  the story of your special day or event as it unfolds through pictures.  It’s about capturing those once in a lifetime moments as they spontaneously occur throughout the day. I’m very enthusiastic about helping people enjoy fond and lasting memories through wonderful photographs.

Highly professional, and dedicated to providing the best photographic experience possible.

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer clients a variety of images which include color, black and white, sepia, and some creative artistic techniques such as aging or antiquing. Each and every image is edited to be print-ready. I use some enhancing techniques on certain images, but I love clean, clear, realistic photos best.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Natural lighting is always best, and I like to work with the lighting conditions I'm given.

Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital photography has a versatility about it that film just can't match - more images, more variety, and all lighting conditions.

How many photographers do you work with?
I always bring one assistant photographer.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Two digital camera bodies, a variety of lenses, plenty of memory cards, tripods, light reflectors, and lots of enthusiasm.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge for a full day. I don't like putting extra stress on my clients.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I usually eat when the couple eats. This is the best time for me to take a break. Photos of the bride and groom and guests eating are not very flattering. This is the only break I take for the day.

Do you charge for travel?
I do not charge for travel for all Southern California areas. Travel fees are dependent on distance and amount of time (usually just fuel charges/airfare and overnight stay if necessary).

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
2-3 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We do on-line proofing and give our clients a proof CD of all their images.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
No. The images are those of the couple, and they should be able to do whatever they want with them.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes. I may put some images on my blog or website, unless the couple requests otherwise.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes. The couple receives a DVD of all their high-resolution images.

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.

What kind of albums do you offer?
Custom made flush-mount handcrafted Italian albums with a wide range of sizes and covers.

When will the client get the final album?
Once the couple selects the images for the album it takes up to 8 weeks for delivery.
