We hired Geppetto Catering for our 50 person wedding reception after getting quotes and menus from 10 caterers in the DC area. Kelsey was so wonderful to work with and they were flexible with our very specific requests. Our "heavy apps" menu included crab cakes, shrimp and grits bites, ham sandwiches, and a meat and cheese platter.

We hired Geppetto for our food, bar service and rentals (tables and linens). I had a lot of last minute requests and they were able to accommodate all of those. Kelsey came to the final walk through at the venue and had some great recommendations for our table placement.

In addition to a wonderful experience before our wedding, they sent the sweetest bottle of champagne to our house after the event.

We will definitely hire Geppetto for future events!

Amazing BBQ – the best ever! Geppetto Catering provided excellent and efficient service for my daughter’s wedding rehearsal dinner at home last November, from set-up to clean-up. The manager of our event, Toby, was wonderful to deal with throughout the entire process, from initial contact with planning and decision-making to overseeing the dinner itself. She was always very responsive. She came to our house for the dinner set-up and was attentive to making every detail perfect. The service staff employees were just outstanding. They set up the tables beautifully and served the food graciously. They took care of our guests very well. It was an elegant barbecue. The side dishes and desserts were also fabulous. This was an effortless event on our part, which allowed us time to relax and the freedom to enjoy our family and guests.

Rust and Lace lived up to all the promises made during this process. Their attention to detail is fantastic, and they are absolutely flexible. They are incredibly responsive, every question and email was answered immediately. Everyone there on the day of the wedding was a perfect professional, they were kind, courteous and helpful and did a great job ensuring all our guests had everything they need.
