Rockhorse Park is a AAA approved year 'round full-service full-hookup campground nestled on private property at the northwestern edge of the Great Basin Steppe, overlooking the magnificent Fort Rock maar volcano.

These are spectacular surroundings offering an unparalleled venue for festivals, stargazing, & liberty. 400 cathedral-scale ponderosa pines shade our oasis at the mouth of 3 national forests, creating a very special atmosphere with a panoramic view of Fort Rock that will take your breath away. BLM and USFS lands surround us for miles with trails leading everywhere or off into nowhere, if you prefer, to explore on foot, horseback, bike, or ATV. .

17 well-appointed campsites provide excellent water quality and a choice of power hookups from 50 Amp, 30 Amp, 20 Amp or none, and sewer hookups. Most sites offer picnic tables and firepits. Firewood is available for sale at the market and no firewood may be brought in from outside the park. Super-clean and well-stocked bathhouses for both men and women, hot showers with legendary water pressure and comfortable laundry facilities.

Our onsite market serves up an ever-changing eclectic mix of seasonal local fresh produce; fresh, hot, strong, organic Colombian coffee, dairy and specialty items, bulk staple foods & herbs, a fine selection of beer, wine, cider, tobacco and smoking accessories, an array of sodas, candies, snacks, frozen treats, camp supplies, household, vehicular, hunting, and fishing necessities, groceries, firewood, ice, and works of art, furniture, & jewelry by local craftspeople. WiFi internet access is available to our guests parkwide and there are superior cel phone access points onsite as well.

Our summer concert series features the 15th Annual SCOOTRs Summer Eruption...a 3-day motorcycle rally, music festival, and children's benefit! We warmly welcome music acts, wedding parties, car shows, festivals of all stripes, horse campers, bikers, explorers, hunters, and off-road enthusiasts. Our hunting seasons are sweet and usually sold out early; straddling the popular Fort Rock & Paulina units where deer, elk, and antelope are plentiful and healthy.
