River Run Country Club is an elegant wedding ceremony and reception venue located just outside Davidson, North Carolina, just 30 minutes from Charlotte. This award-winning golf course provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding celebration. The venue's professional, service-oriented events team believes that when it comes to your special day, nothing less than the very best will do. They can't wait to provide the expert guidance and support you need to make all your wedding dreams come true.
Facilities and Capacity
River Run Country Club hosts engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions, anniversary celebrations, and more. The venue offers a choice of indoor and outdoor event areas. The 18-hole golf course, which features two small lakes, a natural wood bridge, and a wealth of trees, well-manicured shrubbery, and beautiful flowers, affords no shortage of great photo opportunities and is the perfect setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony.
The spacious Grand Ballroom is the perfect choice for a stylish indoor reception. It provides seating for up to 150 guests and features a working fireplace, elegant chandeliers, and large windows that afford stunning views of the surrounding golf course. A large pre-function room and two private verandas adjoin the ballroom.
Dressing rooms are also available to provide comfort and privacy as you relax and get ready for your big day.
Services Offered
River Run Country Club offers full catering and bar services; these include tables, chairs, glassware, barware, flatware, linens, and other staples. You can choose from a selection of premium and house liquors, wines, and domestic and imported beers. Additional wedding package features and options include event planning services, lighting and sound equipment, event rentals, and cleanup.

Beautiful Venue
The staff at RRCC was amazing throughout the entire day. They were so polite and made us all feel welcome.
DeAnne was fabulous from start to finish. She was responsive and very easy to work with. Her main priority is making sure everything runs smoothly on the venue side, and it certainly did for our event. She was extremely helpful in helping us navigate the COVID-19 rules of the state. You can't go wrong at RRCC - highly recommend!

Thanks to River Run and their staff, we had the picture perfect fairy tale wedding!
The facilities were exceptional. Given the ability to host an outdoor ceremony and an indoor sit-down reception, River Run is ideal to host weddings. The interior was simply beautiful.
By far, the best part of River Run was our experience with Tricia Johnson, Director of Member & Private Events. Besides being very professional in all she said and did, she was friendly and gracious in every interaction we had. Her communication with us always contained the right amount of detail and information. She carefully listened in order to understand the desires for the wedding and reception. She offered helpful suggestions but never came across as pushy. She provided much-needed oversight to the bridal party the day of the wedding, and she and her team seemed to be everywhere during the reception. Everything moved along crisply and on time. To be honest, Tricia was the best part of our experience with River Run.
We are grateful to River Run for helping to make this big event so very special for our families.

River Run is kept secret in Charlotte. Their venue is breathtaking and the management and staff is top notch! They are EXTREMELY attentive to their guest and I highly recommend they are on your list to vsist if you need the perfect venue!
Beautiful Venue .... It has everything .... the Golf Course ... the Creek .... the Waterfalls from the big rocks ... and the Hall ... that gives the warm and romantic ambience .... i love the bridge !!! So many pictorial sites ... And that's not all yet .... with Millie Harper, that's always happy to help, easy to work with and Amanda Zygmont .... what a dynamic duo ;o) !!
