We can obtain the permission of a bride and groom for you to stop by. That way you can hear and see us in action at an actual reception. Watch that crowd dance!
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Yes, as long as a period big band would have performed it.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
1 to 2.5 hours, depending on the location.
How much space do you usually require?
Depends. Larger is better but space is usually at a premium. We strive to provide your guests with the most space to dance.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes. DJ and/or spinning recorded music between, before or after the band music sets; Wireless mic
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
We emcee the reception most of the time but talk just a little between songs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Dinners, food or snacks are appreciated but not required. To feed a few people, like our set up crew or jazz combo, is OK but to feed all 17 of us can get quite pricey.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
A reasonable fee is charged if the event is located more than 125 miles from Detroit. Overnight stays are charged if the band cannot return to the Detroit area before 2:30 AM.
