Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have experience with all types of lighting from strobe flash to all natural light.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I use only digital cameras. The amount of images taken would be cost prohibitive to return to film.
How many photographers do you work with?
All weddings are photographed with a minimum of 2 photographers unless specific instructions or prior arrangements are made.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Unless I am deathly ill, I will be at all weddings contracted for.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I will not book more than one wedding in a day. This precludes unforeseen events causing my delay.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a multitude of proficient photographers that I have worked with and can call upon to step in at the last minute if needed.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I carry 2 Canon camera bodies and a host of lenses. I also carry flash equipment for those shots requiring it. I have enough memory storage that I will not run short.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Stated above.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Most parties purchase a package deal but I am willing to work with any bride to provide the services they require on an hourly or daily basis.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
My overtime hours are billed at twice the hourly rate.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Only necessity breaks are required so I do not miss any special moments. At this time my second shooter would be available so there are no missed opportunities.
Do you charge for travel?
Only if the event is more than one hours drive from my location.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I promise the proofs within 14 business days but usually provide them much faster. This allows for any unforeseen emergencies that might arise.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
I will provide a CD-ROM with all of the proofs which are watermarked with my logo. These images are NOT to be uploaded to any website or printed. I can also upload the images to my website for viewing by all parties involved.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proofs are for the couple to keep forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
That can be arranged at our consultation for a fee.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, stated earlier.

When will the client get the final album?
Usually the long pole in the design of the album is in selecting the images to go into it. I promise the delivery of the album within 2-3 months of final selection of the images. This includes the design time, your review time, production and shipping.
