John Drew, a seasoned professional and master photographer started Professional Image Photography over 20 years and has covered many Weddings & Events throught the Mid-Atlantic Region and beyond.
 
Our staff is committed to you with a passion to providing excellence and going the extra mile for you while delivering the personal attention your event deserves! We can customize coverage just for you that is flexible with time and locations or select from our range of packages.
 
We have worked in many hotels, historic locations and other unique backdrops. You can choose from and or mix a range of photography styles including formal, journalistic, classic, traditional and fun candid style! We are unobtrusive and respectful while capturing the essence, emotion, excitement and natural beauty of your wedding or event.
 
We accept a limited number of bookings per year and all inquires are welcomed. Services are calendar driven and secured by a retainer fee and a signed service agreement.  If you’re in need of Wedding & Event Photography locally or at some other destination around the country, we’d be happy and excited to speak with you.

I work in all lighting conditions including natural daylight and romantic candlelight.
 
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital is primary and film upon request
 
How many photographers do you work with?
I work with 2 or more photographers based on the size and scope of the events.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am always present when reserved for your wedding day/ weekend event.
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I am commited to providing 100% attention to my brides.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a team of trained photographers available should I not be available for an event.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I use state of the art Nikon digital camera systems and backups along with studio lighting.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I always bring enough equipment for backup for the unexpected.
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge by the event package selected by the client whether for one day's coverage or weekend.
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Overtime is subject to availability
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Working with a team, I am able to alternate for one small break.
 
Do you charge for travel?
I charge for travel for events more than 1 hour away from the studio.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
With digital, images are made available via private online posting within 3-5 days on average.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Captured images can be provided on CD-Rom, DVD, paper prints or private web-gallery.
 
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Paper proofs are printed for the couple to keep.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
The photographer/ studio retains the orignal copyright and can provide a release upon request.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
The photographer/ studio obtains written permission for any photos used for promotion or published.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital files are provided to the couple via CD-Rom/ DVD with select coverages.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
We provide a choice of Traditional Leather or Digital Coffee Table Books.
 
When will the client get the final album?
Upon reciept of the final selection, the final book is completed within 6-8 weeks on average.

Additional Questions and Answers
  1. How many couples choose more than the contracted number of photos in their album?  Many if not all! The original number of photos you’ve contracted for will tell the story of your wedding as it unfolded, but most couples want between 50 – 100 images more than originally agreed upon because of the creative way in which the story was captured.
  2. Can our parents have their own albums?Certainly! Parent’s albums are supplied from the same bookbinder as the main album..
  3. How far in advance are you book? Certain times of the year book out a year in advance since particular dates are more popular than others. 

    How do we retain you for our wedding?  We photograph a select number of weddings a years to maintain a high level of service and deliver the best finished product possible.  Call for availability.

    A non-refundable retainer/ reservation fee is required at the time of booking with a signed service agreement. This will be applied towards the balance of your total purchase.   We are paid in full prior to your wedding day.
