About

Port Gamble is a privately owned 120 acre National Historic Landmak on the shores of Hood Canal. A vibrant town with charming turn-of-the-century buildings, a picturesque historic church and New England style homes on maple tree-lined streets, the serene and wooded surroundings and stunning waterfront view offer a unique opportunity for the perfect wedding and reception.

St. Paul's church was built in 1879 and modeled after a church in East Machias, Maine. St. Paul's Church offers beautiful indoor ceremonies as well as indoor/outdoor patio receptions for up to 150 guests. A newly remodeled reception area spills out onto a tented terrace overlooking Gamble Bay.

The Hood Canal Vista Pavilion and adjacent tented outdoor Pavilion provide a wonderful indoor/outdoor wedding event, perfect for unpredictable Northwest weather. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the views of Hood Canal are spectacular. The Hood Canal Vista Pavilion features a stunning rock fireplace, french doors and huge windows to take advantage of the water and sloping lawn views, accommodating 150 guests. The outdoor tented terrace accomodates receptions up to 180 guests. Tables and chairs are provided, set up and broken down by our staff.

The perfect wedding town

This venue is amazing! It feels more like a wedding town instead of just a venue. The staff are extremely helpful and responsive to any questions you have. I also love how they have town events during the year - it's like revisiting your wedding every time you stop by. It's a magical place - you'll love having your wedding here!

Beautiful and affordable venue!

A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful staff at Port Gamble Weddings & Events!!! The venue is GORGEOUS and affordable. It does get booked frequently because of this, so reserve ASAP. We booked the Church and had a tent outside. It was absolutely charming. Gorgeous photographs. Their staff was extremely helpful and patient (I emailed about a bazillion times and asked a bunch of questions). They do have quite a few rules, so be sure to check-in with them before you buy/order something -- they do their BEST to accommodate though :-) Mr Eric is very sweet and friendly!! Also heads up, their aisle is pretty small, but you can still fit down it ;-) Would absolutely recommend to couples looking to tie the knot!

Perfect Winter Wedding

Port Gamble Weddings was the perfect place for us to host our wedding. Throughout the entire process, the entire team at this venue was very responsive and went out of their way to make sure our event was a success. During our wedding weekend, they were readily available to help us with last minute changes. Even with a large Christmas event going on at the same time as our wedding, we experienced no issues. I would recommend them to everyone looking to get married in this area. It would be hard to beat the value they offer to couples.

Hallmark Level Wedding Magic

My husband and I found Port Gamble on a roadtrip on day. It is a beautiful little town very similar to a hallmark movie. The price was reasonable, the team was extremely helpful and flexible, and everything went as smoothly as possible. Eric was in contact with us since the day we saw the venue and was there during our rehearsal, working with all of our other vendors and helping guide us. The venue has a preferred vendor list which we found extremely helpful. I highly, highly suggest this venue and the people associated.

Thank you for a beautiful day!

I got married in St. Paul's church two months ago (to the day!) and I LOVED it! The church is so classic and beautiful, you hardly need decor. The staff is helpful and available for questions throughout the planning process. They provide a vendor list that they've worked with, which makes the rest of the hiring much more simple. The pavilion is a perfect place for a reception and if you have the luck of also getting the tent it extra fabulous! When my husband and I were looking for venues, we were originally looking in Seattle because that's where we live. But Port Gamble charmed us and felt just right. We had family and friends coming from all over the country so they got to experience the true magic of the PNW! I'm so happy with our wedding day and the beauty, charm, and kindness of Port Gamble and the events crew was such a huge part. Thank you!!

We absolutely loved working with the Port Gamble team! Not to mention it's a stunning wedding venue! We did most of our wedding planning from across the US, and the entire team was amazing to work with, very responsive, and totally understanding of our unique long-distance situation. We worked mostly with Eric, including 2 venue walk-throughs, who was always so accommodating and friendly. He also is very responsive via email! Our wedding day went off without a hitch, due in part to Port Gamble staff being nearby or on-site all day and helping us plan an amazing event. If you're thinking about getting married in Port Gamble, we highly recommend it!

Great venue! Everyone we worked with was helpful and went out of their way to make our day great. Our wedding was beautiful and all our guests loved the venue. The combination of the old timey church and beautiful waterfront is truly unique and we definitely recommend this venue!

I got married at the Pavilion in Port Gamble in the grass overlooking the water. It was absolutely gorgeous. This venue goes the extra mile to make sure your wedding is everything you want. They’re very professional and have great ideas if you need help.
