Yes
Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
We are boutique wedding filmmakers, only taking on a limited number of brides per year - for the focus and attention to our current production schedule. If you'd like more information, let us take you to coffee, our treat!
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
The cameras we use are actually brighter than what the human eye can see in many situations, and we use extra lighting sparingly, often to accentuate or enhance the look of the shot
How many videographers do you work with?
I myself personally film each and every wedding. We have filmmakers in many areas that are exclusive to us, and that gives us the advantage to send a minimum of two to each event.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Absolutely! If you're located in a wonderful far away place we can always use Skype as well.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
After 11 years and over 350 events we have never missed a wedding, arrived late, or otherwise made any mistake that would jeopardize an event. Our motto is, leave early enough so that you can have a flat tire, fix it, and still be an hour early.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only do one event per day - and depending on logistics, only one event per weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
We have four videographers that are exclusive to us, no event will ever be un-documented in the highest quality
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We requite minimal setup, our cameras are very small in size and we don't require power. Everything we use can be easily transported in luggage
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Every filmmaker brings has two cameras apiece, and a third backup.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We don't require a meal at the reception, but in order to keep fatigue away and keep us close to your event in case something happens, we would appreciate a meal.
Do you charge overtime?
Sometimes things run behind, and we acknowledge that no event runs perfectly. We don't typically worry about an additional 10-15 minutes, especially if we are in the middle of a specific event. We talk to you before the event to figure out your best coverage options.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
We offer raw footage on DVD for a nominal fee.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for deals, contents, etc.?
We are so proud of our work, and you will be too. We love blogging, Facebooking, and otherwise letting people know how awesome your video is. If you would prefer not to, we can password protect any video.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
We love input! A pre-wedding consultation is required in order to learn more about you, your event, and your personal style. We get a lot of must have's and can't stands from you in order to craft your masterpiece.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Depending on the time of year of your event, it can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 10 weeks to receive your finished video. Trailers and short films are available sooner, and you can even order Thank You DVD's which rush the final delivery date of the video as well.
Do you require a minimum number of hours to book?
Everything depends on the day, the season, and the location. Give us a call and speak to us about your particular event.
