About

I’ve been performing instrumental guitar in Florida for the past 12 years. I use a battery powered amplifier for beach weddings, a system for large functions, and a special system for small rooms. I can perform Ceremonies/Cocktail Hours/ Dinner as a Solo Guitar, or as a duo = Guitar and Flute or Guitar and Violin. For Cocktails/Dinner and I am also available to perform as a Jazz Trio = Guitar/UprightBass/Drums. Absolutely amazing!

Pete went above and beyond to make our big day special. He’s incredibly talented, catered to the style of music we wanted throughout the day, and really kept the vibe of the day flowing. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!

Absolutely perfect

Pete truly helped to make our day amazing. He was easy going from the start and even offered to do something special for us when we asked. The music was spot on and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Everyone commented on how fantastic he was on the guitar and that he was flawless.

Best decision you will make regarding your wedding

Pete played for our outdoor ceremony and was absolutely incredible. He played plenty of music while guests were seated and waited for the wedding to begin. Music was clear and could be heard throughout the entire site. He played exactly what we asked of him and each song was beautiful and timed perfect.

Contacting him an booking was very easy and Pete was very quick with all of his replies AND SO FRIENDLY! He made me feel important and like a bride from the first email. He made payments easy and answered any questions quickly.

Song selections were fantastic. Pete's list for songs is very large and has everything from classics to modern. He is so talented and he can truly play anything.

We were so happy with Peter at our ceremony. He was prompt and ready before guests even arrived. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

You will not regret having him at your wedding!

Peter Simms: Professional in every way!

Peter Simms very recently played music at our son's wedding in Nokomis, FL and is a truly professional musician in every aspect. Pleasant interactions and gorgeous music

Pete was professional and so pleasant to work with. He followed up quickly every time we reached out, he double checked with us on the details and kept us informed that he was practicing our playlist with his accompanying cellist to keep us reassured it would all go off without a hitch. And it did! Highly recommend working with Pete. We couldn’t be happier!

Pete Simms and two other musicians were PERFECT for our 130-person outdoor evening event in Tampa. Like other reviewers have posted, the music was delightful but not intrusive. We used them for a "welcome party" the night before the wedding, and the gathering could not have gone better. We also got to use Pete's microphone for some brief remarks/toasts, and that was an added bonus. I located Pete from an internet search, and I am not from FL. I would DEFINITELY hire them again, and recommend them to anyone. Reasonably priced.
