Donna Cole is Brilliant - Especially at Bridal Veil Lakes!

When my husband and I chose our venue (Bridal Veil Lakes), we knew we wanted a coordinator who had been there before and Donna came highly recommended. And we could not be happier with our choice. She was extremely professional and flexible (easily moving with us from 2020 to 2021 when we had to postpone) and made great suggestions for vendors (she comes with a whole list!) She also has various packages so brides can pick the one that works best for them. We used her primarily for day/week of coordination but I absolutely emailed her a bunch over the TWO YEARS (ahaha) we worked with her and she was a gem. HIGHLY recommend.

Detail oriented and amazing

Donna and her team helped me pull off a dream wedding in Oregon when I was living in Texas. She made the whole process smooth sailing and the day of I didn't fret one detail. It was all perfect. Can't recommend her enough!

Donna was paramount to making our wedding a success! She simply took care of every detail, she was attentive, sweet, organized and truly put together a fabulous wedding for us both. We LOVED her, and so did our guests! I can’t imagine our day without Donna.
Planning a wedding can be pretty overwhelming, even for the most organized do-it-yourselfers, I cannot stress enough how much a day of coordinator is worth! Donna was there to take over so that we, and our family, could just focus on enjoying this momentous occasion.
She not only organized that day, but offered advice throughout the year, orchestrated our vendors a month out, stored/set up/and coordinated our decorations, and then flawlessly handled our entire day. She made it all happen flawlessly and always with a smile!
We love, love, loved her.

I don't know what we would have done without Donna at Pearl & Roses, but it probably would have resulted in a wedding far less beautiful and fabulous than the one she coordinated for us! Wedding planning is so stressful and confusing and you typically have to jump in with no experience. Having a wedding planner seems like a good idea in general, but Donna is exceptional beyond your typical wedding planner. She is so experienced, smart, and honest. We had many, MANY discussions and meetings over the course of the planning process and she never steered me wrong, helping me translate my (often changing) vision into real conversations with vendors. The end result was a spectacular, gorgeous wedding that people are still telling me was the most beautiful they've ever seen, that went off without a hitch despite the 10 million issues I'm sure popped up during the evening that I never even saw. Now I have an amazing wedding to look back on, and a new friend in Donna. I recommend her services to absolutely anyone! You will be so happy you worked with her!

Donna with Pearl and Roses is a godsend. From her rosy demeanor that can lighten any mood to her expert trouble shooting, she is an exceptional wedding coordinator. We retained her for a few weeks leading up to our wedding to help with the timeline and coordination. She went far and above what we expected, providing counsel, helping us think through logistics and giving insightful recommendations. Above all else, Donna came to our rescue when our venue became unavailable within two weeks of our wedding due to a natural disaster. She sprang into action, helped identify several venues that were willing to work with us on short notice, and took time out of her day to scope things out for us. Her behind the scenes work to bring our wedding vision to life was done with such grace and perfection. We’re certain she hears this all the time, but we couldn’t have done it without her. We absolutely recommend Donna and her team for brides and grooms to be. You’ll have the good fortune of working with one of the best.

We live in New Mexico and were planning our daughter's wedding in Portland. I can honestly say we would not have pulled it off without Donna! She is so organized, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and attentive to detail that I soon realized I could do this without the high anxiety I had anticipated. She helped us make a perfect, magical wedding, one that everyone commented was fun and beautiful (and ran like clockwork). Donna listens to your ideas and then has wonderful suggestions on how to make them a reality (along with a selection of vendors to work with). Donna doesn't get ruffled when things change at the last moment or don't go as planned. She obviously already has a Plan B & C in her head! She and her assistant noticed at the reception that not enough people were signing the guest book so took it upon themselves to circulate the book to individual guests and get more entries. That kind of attention to detail made our event the success it was. I highly recommend Pearl and Roses for your wedding planning! I thought she was worth every penny.

Donna was great at keeping my family organized, on track and she kept my family in line. She has amazing ideas and the team she brings with her is great at helping the bride stay calm while putting out fires (figuratively). Her design sense and understanding of what is necessary to make a wedding successful was more than worth it!

Planning a wedding is not always easy, especially when you are doing it from out of state. We were so lucky to finally find Donna and the Pearl and Roses team! We literally talked to multiple wedding planners.

When we finally met Donna on skype, we instantly felt her genuine vibes and uplifting attitude would be a perfect fit for our wedding day and the month prior to it. She went above and beyond what we ever expected. She kindly allowed us to mail boxes to her, which helped greatly being from out of state. She also gave her input and expertise, but still allowed us to do what we wanted. She clearly loves what she does and it shows. We find ourselves extremely lucky to have had Donna lead our wedding day. A wedding planner is definitely a must. With all the efforts and money you have done for your special day, you want to enjoy it and not have to worry about the little details. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about Donna and her team.

Donna went above and beyond what I had expected. We hired her for her day of services which include 4 weeks of help prior to the big day. She made herself available for my dress fittings and meetings and checked in with all my vendors to make sure everything was good to go. This was especially helpful as I was planning an Oregon wedding while living in North Carolina. She kept me informed and had wonderful recommendations for added decorative touches. She even helped with some last minute signage with the help of one of her recommended vendors, who were fabulous. The day of, everything was put together exactly as I had asked and she really helped they day move smoothly. From coordinating with vendors to helping me at a moments notice (drinks, mole skin for my feet, you name it), I am not sure how she does it, it seemed like she was everywhere at once and always calm and in control; very professional. I honestly cannot imagine what our day would have been without her, certainly not as amazing as it was! THANK YOU, DONNA FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!
