Have you been curious about Pole Dancing? Let me answer some questions for you and tell you what we do.

What happens at a pole party/workshop?
Your instructor will arrive a half-hour before you want the party to begin to setup the pole and have your party guests/workshop participants sign our standard Liability Waiver. Once the pole is up, your teacher will start with a quick warm-up and stretch and then move on to the pole. From there, it's up to you where the lesson goes!

Wall and Floor moves are a fun way to break up the lesson, and give a quick break to arms that have been working overtime, and a lap dance can be taught to give our participants something to take home and show off. Before your party, your instructor will find out what you're interested in and tailor your music picks etc and theme.

Do I need to have been on a pole before?
Nope! Pandorasboxbytina Pole Parties are structured for beginners who have never been on a pole or who would like to get in touch with your inner vixen.

How many people do you allow in your workshops and parties?
We have taught parties with 25 people, but with such a big group time on the pole can be limited. An optimal amount of participants at a party would be between 9 to 15 students, giving everyone plenty of time to play and learn some great new moves

How far in advance do I need to book a party date?
About 3-4 weeks is appropriate, however, it's not uncommon to book up to 3 months ahead!
I may be able to accommodate last minute parties in some cases.

Do you only teach pole?
No, we also incorporate erotic dance with an emphasis on those sexy moves you can do that will make YOU feel sexy. We teach lap dancing, booty shakes, and a whole variety of other dance moves along with our pole instruction. We can also create a routine that will leave whoever you show it to breathless.

What type of pole do you use?
We transport with 2 of our top picks. The Carmen Electra Pole or 45mm X-Pole that has static and spinning modes. The smaller diameter pole makes gripping easier for those with smaller hands, and the spinning mode is fun for those people who want to put a little more "oomph" in their spins.

What should I wear?
What feels most comfortable to you! Work out clothes is fine. Generally, the more skin the better but we want you as comfortable as possible with whatever you wear. You can be the judge of that, there is NO STRIPPING INVOLVED.

Does the pole have a weight limit?
Most portable poles have a limit of 200-215 pounds.
X-Pole has a recommended weight limit, but so far we haven't had a woman yet who's been able to take it down! If your weight is over 200lbs, we can tailor your moves so that weight will not be an issue.

What ceiling height will your portable pole work for?
With enough notice, we can order extensions so that our pole can reach up to a 12 foot ceiling, but currently the pole will work for ceilings from 7 to 10 feet. If you have dropped ceilings or vaulted ceilings we cannot accomodate you but you can.

Some of the things your instructor may cover during your session (depending on size of party and time constraints) will be:

Three spinning pole moves
One stationary pole move
Body Rolls
Two booty shakes
The Stripper Walk!
