Palos Verdes Golf Club was founded in 1924 by the “Father of Palos Verdes,” Frank Vanderlip, and continues to deliver exceptional experiences to all of its guests. Facilities and Capacity
Palos Verdes Golf Club offers indoor and outdoor wedding venues with picturesque vistas of the coastline, cityscape, and mountains in the distance. The wedding garden is reserved for ceremonies. The lush green fairways and rose gardens surround a dark wooden pergola that can serve as your wedding altar or chuppah. Here, ocean views and quiet breezes will help establish the atmosphere for you and up to 300 seated guests. Indoor receptions are typically held in the clubhouse dining hall. This luxury ballroom space features panoramic floor-to-ceiling window views of the ocean and golf course. The exposed beams, wrought iron chandeliers, and bronze Chiavari chairs provide an elegant yet rustic ambiance. The ballroom can accommodate up to 300 seated guests. The wedding party will also have access to two get-ready rooms. The Margate Room features rich interiors and casual seating while the Altamira Tower offers a large vanity space and a Juliet balcony. All venue spaces can be accommodated to suit your needs and personal style.

They have a certified wedding planner and culinary team on staff to help you plan and prepare your special day. Laos provided is a fine wine list, cocktail service, and elegant dinner reception. All packages can be customized to suit your wedding needs and budget, and trained wait staff and bartenders will be available throughout the evening. Topping it off, your coordinator will be present from day one to ensure a seamless flow of events with all vendors.

Beautiful & Fantastic Service
The service the night of was wonderful, and our guests kept commenting on how hard-working and attentive the staff was, and everyone kept raving about how incredible the food was for days to come! The venue and views were absolutely stunning. I really couldn’t believe the value we got as it was a bit more affordable than other venues we’d looked at in the area. Highly recommend PVGC for your wedding! Big thanks to all for making our day so wonderful.
Renovated and Gorgeous Venue
First of all, the coordinator Jordan is a pleasure to work with- responsive to emails, knowledgeable about what the club offers, and professional without being standoffish. She remains calm, cool, and collected regardless of what I am guessing is a large clientele and was able to customize our wedding a bit. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!
The golf club itself has a very nice flow with new renovations completed during covid. Outside there is a beautiful grassy area with twinkly string lights and a succulent wall for photos. Inside is a foyer with a contemporary bar. Upon entering the grand ballroom is a magnificent view of the golf club, ocean, and city. The golf club is also located a bit more inland, so you still have the nice view without the chilliness of being right on the water.
Overall, I highly recommend using this venue as your wedding/reception venue as Jordan is a pleasure to work with, and the venue is absolutely stunning with an easy-to-figure-out flow.

The banquet rooms have recently been remolded and are absolutely stunning. The views are beautiful and the color palette is very neutral so you are able to bring your vision to life.
We enjoyed the indoor-outdoor options of the reception space for our June wedding. We used the outdoor space for the cocktail hour and then later in the evening for a cigar bar.
We highly recommend Palos Verdes Golf Club! They helped to make our reception a night to remember for all :)
