Describe your DJ style:
Odyssey Plus Music Machine is fully adaptable to any type of event or function. OPMM has played for weddings, receptions,private birthday parties,'50-'60 theme parties,singles gatherings,anniversaries,night clubs,watering holes,karaoke bars,field parties,overnight bashes,professional wrestling event and mixed martial arts cage fights just to mention a few.Our style is more laid back but can "CRANK IT UP" if you desire.
What is your usual attire?
For weddings, tuxedo and formal wear is the norm.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
OPMM makes every effort to supply the required music.
How many other DJs do you work with?
OPMM is a team of 2 disc jockeys, THE FLAME and SMOKE.We have done dual events, on one day, several times but prefer to work as a team at single events.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
We tailor an event to your needs.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
OPMM requires a meeting well in advance to insure we coordinate to the smallest detail.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
NO
Do you bring your own equipment?
OPMM has 2 complete sound re-enforcement systems.No matter the requirement, we have it.Check the TIPS AND ADVICE section.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
OPMM has a complete lighting/effects offering at all levels.Check the TIPS AND ADVICE section.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
OPMM needs less than an hour but like access to the venue, at least, 2 hours prior to insure proper operation of the sound equipment.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Normally, a 10'x5' area is all that's required.This will be dictated by your level of production.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
OPMM can easily MC your event and also act as door greeters.There's minimum talking between songs, unless you request it.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
OPMM is professional to the smallest detail.We do not require a meal but may request a sample from the caterer for possible future referrals.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
If there is a unforseen situation requiring both DJs to leave the equipment,it is set to insure the music never stops.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
If we can't show as a team, one of us will be there.We also have a network of contacts to assist with unforseen problems.
What is your overtime rate?
OPMMs overtime rate is $100 hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
There is no cost for travel if the event is less than a 40 mile radius from us.After that, it's 75cents a mile, round trip.
