Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Our images are each works of art that I personally shoot and photoshop myself. You always have a choice about Color, BW, and sepia toning.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We are prepared to handle any light situation.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We prefer digital, since what makes our work stand out is the post processing we do in Adobe Photoshop. Also since we shoot a range of 1500-3000 images per event. Digital is sweet indeed.
How many photographers do you work with?
You always get two photographers as part of your custom package. In rare occasions we will add a third if needed.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely. I have never missed a scheduled wedding. And I will hopefully continue that streak.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We try not to. But sometimes we do. Be assured we will never overlap your wedding with another one.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes. Just as good if not better.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Everything necessary. And a back up, just in case.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Like I said, you can never be too careful.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We pride ourselves in spending the entire day with our clients.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Overtime?... When its over it's over and not a minute less.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Bathroom breaks.. and a few minutes to eat our vendor meals.
Do you charge for travel?
Depends...where do you need us to go?
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Usually within a week or two but it can take as much as a month.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We do all our proofing through www.pictage.com.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Proofs remain on our proofing site for three months. Couples can then decide if they need more to purchase additional time.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but they can be bought.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, but i will always ask for permission.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Certainly, digital files can be purchased individually online. Or as a whole from us.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, through the prestigious www.pictage.com
What kind of albums do you offer?
Everything from traditional real leather albums to modern coffee table books.
When will the client get the final album?
It really is up to you. Once the pictures are online you choose your favorites and then approve the design. Typically from 6-8 weeks after final design approval.
