Hi my name is george and I am the owner of MOD event lighting , lighting is somthing most people don’t think of , but they should . The way I got into the biz was My wedding planner suggested it , and like most people on a budget I thought it was somthing i could do without , but she convinced me to go with it and i am glad I did. I never thought it would make such a big impact on the event , infact I had dozens of people complementing my wife and I on how good the lighting looked .Since then lighting is all I have been doing , I have a passion for it . Picture your average wedding or party you walk into the venue , what do you see ; a well lit room with tables set , flowers , and andother decor. Imagine the same event with the walls lit up pink(or any other color , "uplighting") and the rest of the room lit up red( or any other color "wash lighting") it really sets the mood . If you are on a really tight budget and you want to have some lighting , you can do it your self for about $100-$300 depending on how many tables you have. What you do is go and buy a bunch of battery operated tea lights , you can find them on ebay from around $69.95 fo 100pcs to $169.95 for 288 pcs. you will have to see what works for you. As soon as you get the lights start to set them on all the tables and decor .The more lights you get the better. Then simply ask the venu to dim the lights and it looks really nice and changes your event from the same old to the classy and elegant party you want to have.
